« Absolutely loved our stay at the Aurora Summit, the location was idyllic and the property was beautifully kept. We enjoyed a bottle of wine and a cheeseboard on the picnic mat provided in front of the fire and listened to the beautiful soundscape. « The host (Fi) was excellent and responded to our queries promptly. She is most definitely a genuine dog lover and provides for the 4-legged guests accordingly. The unit had everything we needed plus a few extra's and we had access to a fully fenced back yard for our doggo. There was also a BBQ which we did use on the first night. Plenty of information on dog friendly local beaches and cafes which we found very helpful. Port Macquarie also has much to offer in terms of craft breweries, wineries,...

"It was such a shabby place — we had to change rooms because the left side of the bed smelled like pee. We called the receptionist, and at first she said there were no other rooms available and offered us some spray for the smell??? I couldn’t believe it. She finally gave us another room after we made it clear we weren’t going to sleep in a dodgy bed, especially since there were weird stains on it too. Even the entrance smelled like pee and the room walls had strange marks running down them. Honestly, it was traumatizing."
