It's a great place for a quiet and relaxing vacation! if you love to stay in the nature and want to avoid those busy areas from Friday Harbor, this is the place! The 2-bedroom cabin was neat and clean, filled with kitchenware (3-bedroom cabin includes dish washer!!) and a grill. Staffs are definitely helpful and friendly! We really enjoy our 3-night stay there!

We love this place, quite and safe! But, we could not sleep well because the mattress are so soft. I had lower back pain.

We really enjoyed our two night stay last week. The cabin is very relaxing and you can't beat the view from the deck. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We hope to be back soon.

I visited SHR during the winter season to avoid crowds, but it will be nice to visit SHR during summer. It is in a beautiful, isolated area with many things to do with family.

Gorgeous views and luxury cabins
Just beautiful inside and out of cabins- 2 bedroom we stayed in felt spacious with enough comfortable room for sitting by fire place stove with gorgeous views- loved the outdoor fire rings and games on the water front- guest service 5 star as was everything- we absolutely will return to this memorable place !

Nice place to stay, was clean and quiet. The cabins and grounds are nicely kept. There is no restaurant at the facility, it's not an issue though as the cabins are equipped with kitchens. If wanting to dine out, there plenty of options in Friday Harbor. Overall we had a very pleasant experience and would stay at Snug Harbor Resort again!

Absolutely beautiful location. We loved the simple cabin that fit in perfectly with the surroundings. So many thoughtful touches. Two choices for heat inside. A cute iron stove or more modern heat/ac wall unit. Outside fire rings Nice wall art of local scenery. A kitchen with everything you need to prepare a meal. A little store & coffee shop for extras. BBQs. Large pots by dock to cook crabs you catch in the bay. Fun birdwatching Eagles to Bufflehead Ducks, etc. All the staff members we met were very friendly & helpful. We were attending a nearby family Thanksgiving get together and plan to stay here again.

Everything about the place is wonderful! The cabin was extremely clean and comfortable and well equipped. The staff was accommodating and helpful. Qili suggested lunch at Lime Kiln. We took her advice and ended up not only having a good lunch but discovering the historic town of Roche Harbor. What a treat! We hope to be back soon.

The resort is lovely. Beautiful grounds great accommodations, easy access to Friday Harbor. Not a single complaint EXCEPT cell phone service stinks (Verizon user here) and made it challenging to navigate the island except for when you are close to town. Overall it was a great stay and we will be back to Snug Harbor Resort again!

This place was wonderful. There was an issue booking third party with availability. They made it happen with a smile and that’s hard to find these days. The room was cute and cozy, property was amazing and I honestly could not have had a better stay.

An absolute treat!
My husband and I planned a quick, last minute one-night stay on San Juan Island. After reading the reviews on Hotels.com from past guests of Snug Harbor, I knew this would be a treat for us. Our cabin was beautiful! Clean and so cozy. We were checking in after hours, so I called the front desk, and the woman who answered was so helpful and friendly. The view from our cabin was magnificent. I can’t recommend this property enough!
