La Suite Elwha est un charmant condo de deux chambres situĆ© au niveau d'un bĆ¢timent historique Ć  seulement quelques pas du cœur historique de Friday Harbor centre. Il n'y a pas de logement plus commode pour la marche du dĆ©barcadĆØre du traversier ou par hydravion quai si vous choisissez de laisser la voiture derriĆØre sur le continent. When vous mettre la voiture, il y a un trĆØs convoitĆ© sur place un espace de stationnement rĆ©servĆ© pour vous. _

Vous trouverez toutes les attractions et activitĆ©s que Friday Harbor a Ć  offrir Ć  une courte distance, y compris les baleines excursions, aventures en kayak, des boutiques, des galeries fines, thĆ©Ć¢tre, et une sĆ©lection Ć©clectique de restaurants. Perfect location to explore the island and get the ferry. The best view in town! This unit is well equipped for staying in on a rainy day or going out in the sunshine. We will stay here again.

This has to be the absolute perfect location in Friday Harbor Village! This is the third time we have stayed in the ferry landing suites. Both the two bedroom and the one bedroom are comfortable with storybook views of the Marina, neighboring islands and car ferry dock. Directly above a coffee shop and just a block to the main street. You really donā€™t need a car. Could happily spend the entire summer living in one of these suites and just watching all of the activity from the balcony or oversize picture windows. Highly recommended.

Wow! What a place. My husband, two sons (7 month old and 2.5 year old), and I loved our stay here. Our favorite spot by far was the window nook - what an amazing view! My two year old loved watching the ferries come in and out and all the sea planes take off and land. My husband and I also enjoyed sitting on the deck during our kidsā€™ afternoon nap to enjoy the scenery and play some cribbage. The apartment is well furnished, cozy, and clean. The beds are very comfortable. I couldnā€™t recommend this place more! Such a special vacation and beautiful island. Will most certainly come back. A small side note to consider: itā€™s important to know that this is a busier area of the downtown (with the ferry loading/unloading) and a coffee shop right downstairsā€¦so plan on waking up with the city as it starts to get noisy around 6 am. If youā€™re morning people like us, then this will be no problem! If not though, bringing a white noise device is a solid solution to drown out the morning hustle and bustle.

I took my older father there to get out and he enjoyed the front window, watching the ferry come and go, along with the people. Great location to food, ice-cream and the water. Parking was easy access. Would stay again.

We have stayed in this unit before and we love the view and the outside deck area. The location is super convenient. The apartment is decently appointed. The beds are comfortable, there were plenty of towels for four of us. They have games to play: Sorry, Monopoly, Scrabble, chess/checkers, backgammon, puzzles and more. Now for the bad: the noise from the coffee shop below is horrible. Don't plan on sleeping any later than 7 as the constant banging from downstairs, even with earplugs, was unbearable. We all left this morning feeling exhausted from not being able to get enough sleep. I don't know what, if anything, the owners can do about this, but it's a real problem for anyone who might want to relax on vacation. The internet was not really working while we were there either and they told us they couldn't fix it. We were able to hot spot from our phones to our computers, but that wasn't ideal as we wanted to stream some movies, but can only tether 5GB. They also don't have enough glasses. We didn't really eat there, so I'm not sure about the rest of the kitchen, but for four adults, we definitely did not have enough glassware for our wine and champagne drinking it out of a water glass in the end. The patio is filthy dirty. I don't know the last time they cleaned it, but it was foul. Would we stay here again? Maybe, if we absolutely knew we were going to be up early every day. Otherwise, probably not.

Great place to stay if you donā€™t want to mess with bringing a vehicle to the island. We could walk everywhere in Friday Harbor and one day rented mopeds and rode them to Roche Harbor for lunch. Unit was easy to access (though the stairs may be an issue for some) and had everything we needed for the five of us. Would definitely rent it again!

Such a wonderful vacation rental! The location could not be more convenient! Walking distance from ferry and shops/ restaurants in Friday Harbor. Watching the seaplanes, boats and ferries come and go from our private balcony was wonderful. The condo was tidy, and had everything we needed for our stay. Would absolutely rent again!

The Elwha Suite was incredible. It Looked over the harbor and ferry dock, right above a coffee shop, walking distance to everything, with its own dedicated parking. Couldnā€™t have asked for more!! Host was very responsive. Highly recommended!!!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Elwha Suite, right in the heart of Friday Harbor! The view of the harbor and watching the ferries come in was so beautiful and it was easy to get to all the nearby restaurants, coffee shops and stores! It had all the amenities we needed for a nice weekend getaway and would definitely stay there again!

This is the perfect location if you are looking for a true Friday Harbor downtown, ferry area stay. It's all right there and a GREAT location. Be aware that there is no air conditioning in this and in most properties in the Islands. The owner provided fans and the windows could all be opened. Literally walk ANYWHERE.

Without knowing much about Friday Harbor, we lucked into this place and it was the perfect choice. We had 2 grandparents, 2 adults, and 2 children. This property was well represented in the listing. We loved the view, loved the location and all that was around us. The restaurants, coffee shops and ice cream shops were great for our teens to independently go to. My feedback: there is no AC and the afternoons get hot. We were there early June and I canā€™t imagine how hot it is later in the summer. I saw great reviews on the noise and wanted to weigh in on that as well. The noise of the restaurant next door was never a nuisance. The ferry does make noise most of the day but it doesnā€™t impact the ambiance. The only noise that did impact us was the coffee shop downstairs. The noise traveled greatly in the mornings and woke us up early. If you are an early riser, it will not affect you.

We were on San Juan Island for a family member's wedding at Roche Harbor, but this was also our annual summer vacation with all of our adult children. What a fantastic property, incredible location, and all-around great place to stay. I thought the ferry landing and traffic might bother us, but I found myself being fascinated by watching the onboarding and offloading process, and never tired of the people watching. Beautiful views of the harbor, coffee shop right below us in the same building, and walking distance to everything in town. Northwest Island Escapes personnel were friendly, helpful, and always available. Our stay couldn't have been better.

We absolutely LOVED staying here. This will be the first place we check when we head back up to Friday Harbor to visit our son and his wife. We sat by the window and watched the ferries come and go while the guys played their guitar and our daughter in law did her knitting. Our daughter loved how close it is to the ice cream store. Seriously, this location is the absolute BEST place to be in town. Don't hesitate to book here. Easy check in and out and the outdoor patio was so nice to have coffee on in the morning. There isn't a Ruch to get to the ferry line since it is across the street. We walked everywhere which was nice too. We had a great time!
