The hotel was very very clean. Staff was so friendly and always welcomed you when you came in the door. the rooms were very nice, high beds and lots of pillows! Breakfast was good. Liked the coffee! We will stay here again for sure!

Minimal housekeeping. Questions on online reservation by staff. Didn’t receive receipt at checkout because of reservation made online. Strange didn’t have any problem at different hotel.

Nice hotel
It is a nice hotel more or less in the middle of nowhere. It's a great place to go if you want some peace and quiet. Boat access to the Wolf River is only a couple of blocks away. Clean room. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.

The music in the common area was very loud and odd. We only saw a person who worked there when we checked in and 1 day at breakfast we asked for news to be turned on tv. She did but no volume but very loud weird music was kept on. No one when we checked out, just left room key on front desk. But room was excellent and very clean.

Watch out for extra charges
The stay was great. However, the temporary card hold for incidentals turned into a charge that cleared my bank. I called and was told my card was accidentally charged instead of applying the payment from hotels.com. The charges were mostly reversed. I say mostly, because about $6 was withheld for a utilities surcharge. I asked about this and was told I would have been charged this fee upon checking in. I have always been interested under the impression that the price I book for on hotels.com is the full price of the room.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Nice to have a TV that works. Last 3 or 4 places I stayed I couldn't figure out how the TV worked. Breakfast wasn't hot.

No elevator, had to carry all the luggage up the stairs. I asked at check in if there were any first floor rooms, and was told "No". There were not more than 12 cars in the lot the next morning, and the property had at least 40 rooms, so obviously not all the first floor rooms were taken. The bed was too tall for my wife to easily get in - she's 5'4" and has Parkinson's. There was only 1 chair in the room, and our chances to leave the room were limited because there was NO ELEVATOR and my wife has Parkinson's. Our planned 3-night stay was cut back to 1 night. Very disappointing.
