Welcome to the beautiful Treasure Island. Have you been dreaming of the perfect vacation? Peaceful, calm, and Serene. Well look no further as we welcome you to Serenity by the Sea. Leaving your worries behind as you step onto the front deck, where the ocean is only a glance away, you will instantly enter the Island state of mind.



Sleeping arrangements are easy to navigate as you have multiple options. The primary bedroom has a calming feel with a king-sized bed as well as ample amounts of drawer space. There is a full-sized bed in one of the cozy secondary bedrooms and 2 sets of bunk beds for all the little ones to enjoy in the third bedroom.



Serenity by the Sea is in the peaceful Treasure Island community, within walking distance to the beach.



You’ll be steps away from the ocean, and a golf cart ride from San Luis Pass. Spend your days building sandcastles, playing in the surf, hunting for shells, or just relaxing with a good book. And, of course, there are limitless opportunities to cast a line in this popular fishing area. Only 15 minutes from Surfside Beach, Serenity by the Sea is an easy scenic half-hour drive to the heart of Galveston Island with shopping, dining, and entertainment.

We stayed in this house a few years back and had a great time. Unfortunately this time there was an issue with the house and the owner had to cancel our reservation a few hours before check in. I fully understand that side of it and have no issues with the owner or the house. My issue is with the property manager, Connect Coastal, who A) made no effort to reach out to us to notify us of the cancelation, B) had no idea it was even canceled, and C) made no effort to assist us after the fact. I happened to come across the cancelation email while checking my phone on the way to the location. Their reply after I reached out was a generic email notification that was left blank with their recommendations for other properties. Then there is the issue with VRBO, who was not helpful in any way. After reaching out to them for assistance as we were already on our way with two families with kids, they told us that we had to get to the location before they could assist. Being that we didn’t have any options and put our faith in them that they would make it right, we continued our drive. When we reached out again a few hours later, we were told that our only option was to find something on Expedia or hotels.com. There were no options for houses near a beach, only the general hotels in the area. VRBO doesn’t offer options for booking same day on their site. We did not locate anything comparable to what we originally booked. At the end, a different booking site saved the day!

The house was so far from everything the tv upstairs didn’t work things were broken in the home it was weathered and not as the pictures showed. Highly disappointed with my stay

Great property, clean and inviting with tons of space for families or groups. Close to the beach and nice views in every direction. Would stay again!

My family and I booked this beach house for our daughters 6th birthday, our son’s 15th birthday and 4th of July all on the same week. Our children have been begging for a beach trip and looking at this listing photos and pricing, it seemed to be a great trip! We brought our 2 year old niece and our son’s friend along with us. Negatives - ‱Porta potty and dumpster a few feet away from the property smelled terrible. ‱Pieces of the siding and loose wood falling off the exterior. ‱Railing up the stairs to the front door we’re loose or broken off. Big hazard for my toddler niece. ‱Exterior and deck lights on all levels did not work. ‱Railing inside for the stairs to the 3rd floor was loose. Another hazard for the kids. ‱Deck railing were loose or broke off. ‱Only a few trash bags to use but no where to dump or take trash that accumulates. ‱Beach in view from the beach house is not for swimming. It would have been nice to know where to go for the swimming area instead of having to ask neighbors. ‱Thank goodness we brought a GOLF CART, especially with children. It would have been nice to know that as well. The walk to the actual beach with your beach set up and children is not doable in this Texas heat. ‱2nd bedroom has no lighting, just a lamp. ‱Bunks are not doable for “small” children. My 9 year old even had a hard time getting up and down. ‱Wifi info was not posted anywhere. ‱Elevator doors WERE NOT LOCKED. Super dangerous and hazardous for children!
