The recently refurbished deck that encompasses the front of the home provides exceptional viewing for wildlife during all seasons. The deck also includes comfortable furniture and a hot tub. Wanting to relax outside and enjoy the crystal clear night sky? If so the deck is a great place to do it! The property sits towards the back of a quiet neighborhood allowing for a unique private setting while taking in the beauty of the Rocky Mountain scenery. This mountain log home is also situated close to trail systems and provides first-class biking, hiking, and snowshoeing. Winter Park Resort is just a short distance away providing fantastic downhill skiing, snowboarding, tubing, fishing, hiking, shopping, dining and the largest mountain bike park in the U.S. There is also a free Winter Park Resort bus stop within walking distance to the house.

When you stay at the Mountain View Luxury Log Home you will notice the home has extensive exposed wood interior and vaulted ceilings which provide a true rocky mountain feel, including a 2 story great room which leads to the deck out front where the hot tub is located. The kitchen includes an island and updated appliances. The kitchen and dining room provides seating for 8 between the dining table and counter/bar areas. Just out back from the kitchen and dining area you will find a new BBQ grill allowing you to cook up a delicious meal for the family! A beautiful gas fireplace is located in the living room for those chilly Rocky Mountain evenings. Step inside the garage, where you will find an E-Car Charger, and space for parking.

The heating system for this home is radiant in-floor heat. Throughout the year, all the floors are continuously warm, which feels especially terrific during the frigid Colorado winter season. This home is also equipped with ceiling fans, to keep cool during the summer season. This welcoming home is very "family friendly" with several upgraded features that other rentals in the area don't offer, including a completely equipped chef's kitchen, wall mounted HD smart TV's to stream your favorite online apps including Netflix's, You Tube and Hulu, a large assortment of board games, locally roasted gourmet coffee, door pad for keyless secure entry with 24 hour check in, FREE wireless high speed internet, premium bedding, portable crib, booster chair with tray, and completely stocked with everything you need including organic 5 star hotel quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion.

A laundry room is located on the mid level . A private hot tub facing the valley is available on the deck, which includes a perfect setting for an evening of relaxation. The lower level includes a new sauna, and full size ping pong table. Brand new to this home is 2 Arcade systems, Pac Man, and Golden Tee for endless family fun! There is also a TV, and Nintendo Wii with a few games on the lowest level for the kids in your party.

The downtown Winter Park area is a short drive away, with additional mountain restaurants, shopping, night life and various scheduled events and concerts in the Town's Hideaway Park amphitheater area. This property is very nice although there is a lack of maintenance on many items. Also, it is not kid freindly at all with the stairs. A couple kid gates would be very helpful. The gates that are included don't work with the log interior.

This home worked really well for our family with enough space and games to share and have a good time for the holidays. Nice hot tub as well! Really nice setting and close to grocery store. It was a bit disappointing that the sauna did not work (which was a key reason we booked this home). Windows could use some cleaning to see out better. Overall, it was a good fit for us.

My family spent five beautiful days in the Fraser/Winter Park area, based out of this VRBO home. One family with adults, adult kids, and children. The home was fantastic as we could enjoy the many wonderful activities in this area, but we created our "home away from home" with all breakfasts and many dinners at home with the family. The rooms, kitchen, and leisure space made this a fantastic vacation for all of us.

Tucked away in a neighborhood in Fraser, thisnwas the perfect cabin for our group. Lots of fun amenities, kitchen stocked with equipment, and we found the beds to be overall very comfy. Not far from WP resort and the winter parknescapes company was readily available for the few questions we had.

We came as a family of 10. Ages from 9-68. There was something for everyone. The house is beautiful, conveniently located. Little scary trying to get up the driveway, all wheel drive is a must! Main bedroom bed was way too soft, thank goodness there were 2 chiropractors in the family. But for the most part, we loved it here.

Overall the house was as described and the location is great. We had a wasp problem in the upstairs bedroom where my son stayed during our trip. We killed min 2 per day for 3 days. I alerted rental company about issue and was told with a log cabin build insects can almost always find a way in due to unfinished nature of design. The last night there my son wouldn’t sleep in the bedroom and elected to sleep on couch in loft. Not long after turning out the lights he thought another wasp was flying around his head. Once he turned on the light it was discovered it was a bat! We left the light on in the loft as it made the bat retreat to space in between ceiling and log support structure. I alerted the rental company early the next morning as we packed up and headed out early given the bat issue night before. I asked the rental company to call me on Saturday (day after we departed) and received no call. I did receive an email on Sunday that stated they take the claims seriously and had someone visit the house but found no bat therefore they believe it left the house. We had 3 people witness the bat flying around that night. Rental company was good to communicate while at property, but I am disappointed that the issue we had on last night was blown off. I asked for a call and received email in which I was offered a discount on a future rental. That was not the customer service I was looking for. Hoping the rental company will reach out so we can discuss issues live.

The worst part was the BBC mice in the lower kitchen cabinets, caught 5 on sticky mats, but there is a stinky smell like a dead mouse. . Those mice were busy and freaked our girls out. Otherwise it was ok. The skillet needs to be replaced. Coating missing. Great big fridge, needs a few newer pans. Rooms sufficient .

Great property, with beautiful location, house was clean and spacious. The dishwasher was not working properly when we got here. The top propeller is not working well. It still cleaned but sometimes didn’t. The thermostat on the main level near them laundry room was taken apart so we didn’t mess with it. Overall wonderful trip would definitely come back!

Great log Cabin! Hot Tub, Sauna were wonderful. Beds are not all the most comfortable, but that may be person specific. The cabin has everything that a family would need and is nestled in the trees do provide a beautiful landscape. Very peaceful! We enjoyed our stay very much!

Check-in and check-out were very easy. Plenty of room to park 3 vehicles. Great common area for folks to relax, play games, and watch football/holiday movies! Kitchen was well stocked- had everything we needed to make nice meals. Plenty of room for kids and adults to engage in separate activities.
