Horrible. Felt unsafe, it’s more of a homeless shelter than backpackers. No way to talk to anyone from the hostel. They moved my reservation to a new day without telling me so I had to book twice and I left at midnight to find a hotel because a fight was about to break out between two men, one of whom accused the other of stealing.

It’s not the Taj Mahal, but the service is good. It’s usually quiet here. I rent a bunk in a shared room That Sleeps up to six, hostel style. I’ve stayed here many times. The bunks are very comfortable, The bedding and pillows are absolute top quality And the bathroom is a good size with plenty of water pressure and a boundless amount amount of hot water. It’s a short walk over the drawbridge, which is a cool view, Into the beach… There’s also a huge option of shopping, for anything and restaurants within a few minutes walk. All this helps me ignore the fact that it can be a little bit dingy in the hallways at times and occasionally in a shared room you might have one roomy That is not ideal, but I’ve never had any major issues… for 40 bucks a night after all fees, you just can’t beat the bed bath or location!!! … What else do you need on the beach trip? Oh, and the pool is huge and lovely! Ivan at the front desk is awesome!

Dirty place, lot of roaches. I basically was robbed, cause I paid a room for 2 adults with 2 beds, then they told me the room is only 1 bed and for 1 adult, the attendant was really bad.

I loved the location of the property; staff and service was ok. My second night stay was a horrific event; one of the tenants in the female dormitory was sleeping in the bunk bed directly below me; she suddenly woke up in a rage around 5:20am; started kicking the bed frame of my bed until she literally broke the entire bed frame while also kicking me up and out of the bed (I had to grab the side rails to avoid falling to the floor from the top bunk bed and injuring myself). I called 911; police came to the scene and talked to her; she lied & said she hadn't done anything; I'm glad I had pictures of the entire incident incl. her. Hotel staff reassigned me to a different bed and removed her from the room at check-out time. She kicked the bed soo hard she literally lifted up my entire body. The entire event was devastating to say the least and she never once apologized for any of it.

I was deceived. I had a reservation, at the reception they told me that it was canceled for me, in the end I had to pay 2 times more money so as not to have to look for accommodation at night.

Roaches next to my bed ! .... I know what cheap hotel means but cleanness cmon ! All Stairs nasty strong pee odor, full trash cans, also you can't balance water in shower too hot or too cold. Plus first time in Miami I felt insecure in a hostal, a noisy guy doing crack, many times turn on a lighther on top of bed #6 at 330 am there’s camera inside room #2338, I hope everything is recorded, I was so scared, I told everything to receptionist in lobby I hope they insist more in rules to guests !

All our rooms have been disinfected, and are cleaned every day, sometime roaches are due the guests mess, leaving food everywhere.

Older facility with room for renovation, however bposh does a great job of maximizing what os there to give us the best possible visit .

Property was dirty and very in need of remodelling, room had loads of trash and left behind items from previous guests. Old food laying around everywhere. Hot water in the shower didn’t work, bathroom was pretty gross and had a permanent smell of BO. No sheets just a comforter with no Duvet and some heavily used pillows. Dude kept going outside to smoke a cig every hour of the night and came back having a cough attack for the next 15 minutes every time. Had a camera in the room which is pretty weird. Overall, gross place, felt unsafe, and not maintained properly. Only redeeming aspect is the location. Motel staff was nice enough and pool was fine.

Pleasant Stay
Property could be updated however given that, staff ,cleanileness ,appearance, atmosphere , all top notch. Enjoyed the pool, close by restaurant ,walmart ,and short walk over bridge to beach. Also great $4 bus service from FLL (route 1 then 28 or 4 to Wal Mart) Reccomend.

I could not stay due to safety risk. 1 women alone in a room with 3 men in a closed off area that had an exit sign at the entrance. I have rewuested a full refund, yet, has not received it. I spoke with the registration person, left a message for the owner and contacted Bookings, no result.

For Miami area, good value for money. This isnt a hostel per se, but 3 rooms of a motel (knights inn) outsourced and converted into hostel dormitories. 1 bathroom (shower/toilet) for 6 people. Small pantry with microwave.

Hostels are wonderful when you go with no expectations. Meeting good people is my goal and that was achieved. The bonus was access to a heated pool, plenty of easy transit, and ample venues within walking distance inclusive of two major grocers.

Be careful while booking this place. The service is terrible there are no staff to help or resolve your problems. I ended up sharing a room with a sick person which is unacceptable

Not bad for a night
The hostel allocates space with another hotel. The place is clearly dated and in need of a renovation, however, the bathrooms are in better condition than I expected. Lots of air fresheners and the a/c is always on in the rooms. Good for a cheap place to stay for a layover.
