« Part of what made our stay in La Fortuna so special was having Stefano as a host. He was a great wealth of information and helped us to make plans in our three day stay. From restaurants to sites to see to recommendations and insider information, Stefano was the best. While at the property, we felt safe and the venue was clean with many available amenities. We truly appreciated the wash machine as we were 10 days into our trip! »

« After high sensation when entering the house, our stay turned into a nightmare. What a shame to leave abandoned such a potentially lovely house! Dust, lizard and insects corpse, spider webs, sticky cutlery, wet sofa, shower leaking to toilet, front door lock hardly working, abandoned trash in the garden and crawlspace are just some of the too many issues which make us escape from this hell instead of spending a second night at the same place. We can't understand how owners maintain their house...

« Sehr schönes Haus in ruhiger Lage mit allem was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht. Es liegt an einem steilen Berg auf 1.200m Höhe, empfiehlt sich also zum Akklimatisieren zu Beginn oder auch wieder am Ende einer Tour durch Costa Rica. Die Anfahrt lässt sich auch ohne Allrad bewerkstelligen, ist aber etwas steil. Dafür entschädigt die Aussicht. Das Team das sich um das Haus kümmert ist auch sonst immer ansprechbar und hilfsbereit, großes Lob und Empfehlung! »

« La casa es tal cual se ve en las fotos. La zona abierta de cocina-comedor y salón-barbacoa con piscina muy agradable y en bastantes buenas condiciones. La comunicación con la propiedad muy fluida y el servicio muy bueno. Todo el mundo muy servicial. Fue una buena toma de contacto con Costa Rica y su fauna. Quizá por poner una pega, la falta de lavadora-secadora. Estuvimos en temporada de lluvia y nos tuvimos que llevar la ropa mojada. Suerte que continuábamos nuestro viaje y pudimos...

« Je vous recommande la maison Victoria de Chachagua!! La maison est super propre ainsi que la propriété en générale. La cuisine est complète avec plusieurs extras. Les hôtes nous ont accueillis avec attention (une bouteille de vin 😊). Finalement, alors que nous avons eu un ennui avec la porte d’entrée, Aldemar s’est empressé à régler le problème. Nous avons passé que 2 jours, mais la maison aurait été formidable pour un long séjour. »

« Un peu loin du volcan mais un merveilleux endroit avec beaucoup d'activité pour tous. Pour les amateurs de la nature le site est exceptionnel avec plusieurs espèces de grenouilles et une panoplie de flore et faune La visite nocturne des jardins vaut le détour. Les hôtes sont génial. Merci beaucoup pour votre accueille. »

« Everything about her stay was very good The house is large, the patio is covered so you can sit outside in the daily rain, and there is even a separate building with an upstairs outdoor bedroom. The host was great, very responsive recommended the best brewery maybe in Costa Rica! Great location for all area activities.. A few minor issues but I would absolutely recommend it. »

« Nous étions une famille de 8, grands parents enfants et conjoint(e)s et petit-fils. La maison est très bien pensée, conviviale, très propre, entièrement équipée et à distance raisonnable de la ville dans un environnement de campagne, paisible et charmant. Arnaldo et son équipe sont des hôtes attentionnés, professionnels et très sympathiques. Je recommande sans hésitation cette location. »

« Nice somewhat remote cabin (5min for main road / 25min from La Fortuna), immersed in nature with a nicely tended garden. Unfortunately we were not able to access the nearby hotel pool (they might have a new management). The house itself might need some repair but it did not affect our stay. We will miss our breakfasts on the terrace, looking at the birds flying over the garden and forest! »

« After doing a ton of research trying to find a house that checked all of our necessary boxes, I chose the Firefly house. House was perfect. After long days of exploring and activities it was so nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of La Fortuna we’d jump in the pool and just sit outside and listen to the birds. « Overall we really enjoyed our stay here, we felt safe at all times with the gated community with a security officer checking all visitors before entering the premises. The layout of the house was cool and our grown up kids enjoyed the pool and open area of the house. Best part is definitely the location, it is close by to the town and just a bit far enough from the town center to avoid all the noise. Stay here for a great experience in La Fortuna. »

« The house is old but kept clean and cozy. It is at a high position on the mountain with a good view of the forest and the ocean. We waked up morning with birds' song and the hummingbirds are not afraid of human at all. The meal prepared by Lilliana is very tasty. Our family enjoyed our stay of 2 nights. »

« This was a cozy cabin located in a very cute property. We loved taking our breakfast in the porch to watch the ducks and fish. We had a really lovely stay!! I want to highlight some things that I do wish we had known in advance to feel more prepared though, as the cabin was more rustic than what the listing portrayed. There were only two of us, but it’s worth noting that the sofa bed was in the front living room area, and the AC was located in the bedroom and worked best with that door closed....
