Classic Florentine style apartment, just behind the Cathedral

We welcome you in our apartment in the heart of the historic center of Florence. We are located in the place where the ancient city walls stood in the time of Dante, until 1300. It is an apartment that has been in our family for generations, and which we have recently restored, being careful to preserve its classic Florentine style with the original wooden parquet, the finishes in “pietra serena” and the antique furniture. The classic style has been enriched with modern details to ensure the best comfort for our guests: air conditioning in all rooms, TV and WiFi, a fully equipped kitchen (with induction hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher), a private toilet in the master bedroom and a bathroom with one hydromassage shower. The living area faces the main road with two large windows, while the sleeping area is at the back of the apartment to allow you to have a comfortable sleep.

Just behind the Duomo with the famous Brunelleschi's Dome, the apartment is a few steps from the Bargello Museum, the Accademia Gallery and the Church of Santa Croce. All the monuments of the historic center, Piazza della Signoria and Palazzo Vecchio, the Uffizi Museum and Ponte Vecchio, the Cappelle Medicee and Palazzo Medici Riccardi, are conveniently reachable in 5-10 minutes on foot. An excellent starting point to visit Florence and breathe in its medieval and Renaissance atmosphere. The area offers a great variety of typical restaurants where you can taste excellent traditional and international cuisine, there are theaters, local craft shops, ice-cream shops and pubs where you can spend a pleasant evening.
