GENERAL DESCRIPTION

This elegant and surprising accommodation offers an open and airy atmosphere in which each room communicates from one area to another.

The flat was originally the private home of an architect who renovated it with a creative touch and modern solutions within a typical Tuscan building. Ancient decorative elements such as capitals, exposed beams and the precious frame of the door leading to the TV room are not only preserved, but enhanced by the contrast with modern elements. The result is a perfect blend of modernity and tradition in a cosy and elegant atmosphere.

INTERIOR

ARCHITECH HOUSE, characterised by its high ceilings, is almost entirely mezzanine.

Guests are welcomed by a fantastic living room furnished with 2 elegant sofas and a large table on one side and a smoking room with a fireplace and piano on the other. The whole area is lit by 2 French windows opening onto the garden. The dining room also has a large window that overlooks the garden and is connected to a fully equipped kitchen with its own French window to the garden, perfect for enjoying meals al fresco in fine weather under the beautiful outdoor 'pergola'. Between the dining room and the kitchen is a guest bathroom with shower.

The kitchen is connected to a very bright study thanks to the windows that occupy a large part of the wall.

Many areas of the flat overlook or access the garden, which is the jewel of ARCHITECH HOUSE.

Flats with gardens in the centre of Florence are a rarity and this one in particular is unique. Adorned with a traditional 'pergola' with dining table, the garden has a swimming pool. A true oasis and relief during the hot Florentine summers.

The sleeping area is composed as follows. The master bedroom with wardrobe and master bathroom is located at the far end of the property after the living room and kitchen. Next to the living room is a triple bedroom with two beds downstairs that can be separated or joined and a single on a mezzanine, (blue beds). This area is served by a lovely bathroom with shower and separate sinks decorated with elegant mosaics. The third bedroom has the foyer with the sofa and also the other sofa downstairs and the double loft bed. Finally, the fourth bedroom with en-suite shower room is located after the living area and the laundry room with a French bed. The latter can be a convenient solution for possible accommodation for service personnel or as an additional guest room.

HOW TO GET THERE

BY TRAIN all our flats can be reached by taxi in a few minutes from Santa Maria Novella Station. On foot (name apt) it is about 15 minutes from the station.

BY PLANE all our flats are reachable by taxi in about 20 minutes from Florence airport.

Standard check-in time: 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Check-in by 7:00 PM is included in the price of the stay and does not incur any additional charges.

**We generally allow check in anytime after 11:00 AM, though we cannot guarantee the apartment will be cleaned until 3:00PM

Outside of the standard hours, it is mandatory to provide us with your flight/ train number or any other arrival details. There is an additional cost for late check-in: 7:00PM -9:00PM 20 EURO | 9:00PM -11:00PM 40 EURO| 11:00PM - 01:59 AM (next day) 70 EUR| After 02:00AM on request
