« Plas y ward is absolutely brilliant, if you want a peaceful relaxing break with beautiful scenery all around you then this is the place.. We have been a few times now and we love it every time we have visited, really lovely hosts Liza and Richard leave you to enjoy your break but are always happy to help anyway they can if needed. Comfortable bed and a hot tub to relax in day or night. Would 1000% recommend it. »

« We had a wonderful stay at the shepards hut. The heating and lights had been put on reasy for our arrival as we were later than the check in time . Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening. We really enjoyed our stay. »

« My daughter and I stayed in the Orme lodge, it was lovely. Nice and warm, squirrels outside the windows. Hot tub is just a hot tub - not one with bubbles! so don't look for a button to press lol Very peaceful. If you go with kids (i went with teenager) then maybe take a laptop to watch netflix etc on. wifi connection great. Don't wear sliders on your feet when trying to do the fire or else you will slip on the mud which is hilarious to a teenager btw. Hot tub takes about 4 hours to...
