This modern, well presented three-bedroom duplex, located in a quiet street, is less than 600-metres walk away to patrolled Fingal Beach. You can start your mornings with a jog along the beach or cycle on the nearby pathways, before packing the family up to hit the beach all day. Fingal is the perfect beach for all the family, great waves for those who love to boogie or body board near the surf club, or the gentle waves of Kiddies Corner on the southern end that also has a boat ramp for easy trailer boat access.
With plenty of parking outside for a boat and trailer and a fully fenced courtyard, this property is hard to beat for fishing enthusiasts and boating families alike. Offering comfortable furnishings, two open plan living areas, both with large flat screen TV’s and ceiling fans.
Fall asleep listening to the sound of waves crashing from the master bedroom, that has a comfortable queen size bed with an ensuite and ceiling fan. Here you can escape from the kids for a while and catch up on some holiday viewing. The generous second bedroom has another queen size bed, with ceiling fan and the third bedroom offering 2 sets of single bunks. All rooms have built-in-robes.
The dining area is separated from the kitchen, with a large breakfast bar with a fully equipped kitchen featuring microwave, oven, Expressi coffee machine and full-sized fridge, to make catering for the hungry a breeze.
There is a modern bathroom with bathtub, shower, vanity and separate toilet. Laundry is equipped with washing machine and dryer for your convenience.
The living area has an indoor-outdoor flow, to a fully enclosed courtyard with covered entertaining area, which offers an outdoor setting and Weber gas BBQ for those relaxing afternoon family BBQ's.

Fingal Bay is located on the ocean side of the Tomaree Peninsula and has spectacular Fingal Beach, which is patrolled (and was the setting for the famous 'Where the bloody hell are you?' tourism commercial). Go swimming, surfing or fishing. There is the Fingal Bay Surf Club and Longboat Cafe (open breakfast, lunch and dinner), Fingal Bay Sports Club for affordable meals, as well as parks, BBQ areas and cycleways.
During the whale migration (mid-May until mid-November), keep your eyes on the ocean as Fingal Bay offers land-based whale watching. Barry Park overlooks the ocean and offers views up and down the coast (the Humpback whale highway).

To ensure the comfort of our guests and the neighbours, we do not accept bookings for "Schoolies" breaks/under 21yrs groups and under no circumstances do we allow weddings or parties of any sort.

Noise at Properties: NSW Planning has passed laws that affect guests. The Code of Conduct for holiday renting can be found on our website under the Guest Information tab. In Section 2.5.2 of the STR Code of Conduct, guests have an obligation to ensure the peace and comfort of neighbours and other occupants of the premises (if strata) near holiday rental properties. This means guests have to be very mindful of noise made in or outside the property that can disrupt neighbours at any time of the day. If you or any other guest receives a warning regarding excess noise or excess guests, you may be asked to leave the property immediately with no refund of monies. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited.
Privacy: This property is a holiday rental, it is not a principal place of residence and there are no shared rooms. Enjoy your time in comfort and privacy. Terms and Conditions: Detailed T&Cs apply for this property and payment warrants your agreement and that of all other guests staying at the property with you. Please share the T&Cs with your other guests.
Check-in and -out Times: During the busy months of December and January, the check-in time is 4 pm to facilitate peak back-to-back changeovers. Our standard check-in time is 3 pm and check-out time is 10 am. We offer a complimentary early check-in or late check-out time as a gesture of goodwill where booking and housekeeping schedules allow. Note that due to demand and housekeeping pressures, no early check-ins or late check-outs will be granted during the months of December and January. The safest way to secure an early check-in or later check-out is to book the property for an extra night. Contact us for a special rate for this extra night. All Sunday late check outs must be requested and approved prior to 5 pm on the Friday evening prior. All complimentary early check-ins or late check-outs must be confirmed in writing so that our housekeeping team are informed accordingly.
Guest Registration: Guest registration is mandatory for all bookings and replaces the need for a cash bond for short term bookings (up to 20 nights). It is essential for fraud prevention, damage claims, safety, and emergency purposes. The process varies depending on the online travel agent used. Direct bookings require the booker to upload a copy of their driver’s licence and credit card through our encrypted online process.
Additional Guests: The guest limits apply at all times during the booking. Any extra guests (this includes day visitors) above those that have been booked and paid for must be approved in writing prior to the stay. Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission. This is not possible at all properties.
No Extras: This property is approved for accommodation only. No mattresses, tents, caravans or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed. Under no circumstances are the following activities permitted at any of our properties: motorbikes, dirt bikes, quad bikes, use of firearms or air rifles, fireworks.
EV Charging: For safety reasons and to comply with insurance requirements, guests are prohibited from charging electric vehicles at any property that does not have a dedicated EV charging station. Charging electric vehicles without proper infrastructure poses a fire hazard, and in the unfortunate event of an incident, insurance cover may be compromised, and the guest held liable. If in doubt, ask our team for the closest EV charging station.
Long Stay Discounts: Out of peak season stays of a week or more may qualify for a discount, please send us a message.
Property Information: Information during your stay can be found in the Guest Information Folder or by calling our office 24/7.
Security Deposit: For most bookings, completion of our registration process and a valid credit card with a $1000 available limit is sufficient for the security deposit. For medium-term bookings (21-40 nights) and long-term bookings (41-90 nights), a non-negotiable cash security deposit is required. This deposit, held in our Trust Account, is refunded after the departure inspection, with any damage or loss deducted. The minimum cash deposit is $2000, with higher amounts for larger or more expensive properties, or at the owner’s/agent’s discretion.
Peace of Mind: For your added security, this property is managed by a Licensed Real Estate Agent. We will never request payments be made to an overseas bank account and your money is held safely in our Trust Account until after your departure.

Great getaway for a family
Clean, very well located home. Lots of space to enjoy a holiday and only a couple minutes walk to Fingal bay. Would highly recommend for a family.

Needing maintenance
Hot water heater broke. Pipe in ceiling leaked causing damage to ceiling, walls and carpet; fly screens on windows bent and not sealing. There was dust and cobwebs around. The location of this property was fantastic so we stayed there even though we were given options. It’s a well designed home but appliances and the building are old and major maintenance is required.

Great beach retreat
House was spacious and well set uo for all of us 7.
Beach is a relaxing safe walk close to the house.
The children enjoyed playing Monopoly and chess with the provided games.
Only needed to bring our clothes and beach toys. Nearby shops to do the food shopping.

Port Stephens Stay - Fingal Bay
We are regulars to the area - this time with our Fur Baby.
The property is conveniently located to park, beach, cafe and off leash enclosed area for pets. Plenty of parking and quite location of the house.
My negative feedback is the enclosed area for pets at the house has no grass for fur baby to relax on or toilet on.
This and the cleanliness of kitchen items wasn’t that good, we had to wash glassware and cutlery to use as it was obviously unclean.
Otherwise the house is fab….. two living areas which is handy when travelling with multi generations.
Seperate toilet to bathroom as well.
We would happily go back - just have to walk animals extra for toileting.

Good property for short getaway
Our family stayed here for just under a week.
Two separate living areas at opposite ends of the house + covered outdoor space.
Garage would fit a regular vehicle or SUV without stuff on the roof - we kept the bikes in there. The garage door is operated by a red button on the side of the roller-door motor (no remote).
Outdoor tap and shower to clean sand off. Nice BBQ.
Roof fans and pedestal fans that you could move where required. Aircon would be a nice addition, even just in one living area.
Beach is just a short walk.
