« So pleased we booked an overnight stay here. Every member of staff we met were friendly and helpful. Small room but it had everything that you would need including a safe, aircon (so welcome with the high temperatures), an iron, hairdryer and tea and coffee. The bathroom was great too. Good shower and there were fluffy towels and toiletries. There was an excellent choice at breakfast- a wide selection of cooked breakfasts. « The inn is next to the river ouse in a beautiful area and, by car, is 5 minutes from St. Ives, a very interesting town to visit. To visit Cambridge you can go via various little villages through the countryside avoiding the very crowded A14 - about 40 mins. The room we had was quite small though comfortable with all the usual services. I would recommend asking for a large room on the side away from the kitchen to avoid the noise of the kitchen fan.
