« This is a small 2-bed house with tasteful modern decor. The appliances and fittings are all new and the furnishings very comfortable. As stated, there is parking for two medium size cars, but not SUVs. There was no house book with instructions as to how to change the heating or put out rubbish. But the owner responded rapidly when we asked how to change the heating. There is a small Tesco Express nearby where most basic provisions can be bought. Would recommend without hesitation. »

« It was a delight to hear the wildlife, and nothing else (!), during my stay at The Hideaway. - Quite refreshing. The accommodation has all one needs, but the emphasis has to be towards the “outdoors”, the tranquillity it offers and marvellous views of the countryside. Walks galore on your doorstep, or just find a spot to sit and take it all in. Well worth a visit. »

« My wife and I stayed a couple of nights with our dog, as we were visiting a nearby dog rescue. The room was clean, nicely decorated and well equipped with kettle, tea, coffee, milk, towels and toiletries. Good shower and nice sized bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had an excellent meal at the restaurant. If we ever find ourselves in the area again we will definitely return. »

« My bridesmaids and I stayed at Badgers Cottage on my wedding eve and they stayed on through the weekend. It was the perfect setting for getting ready on my wedding morning with lots of light and just a comfortable space.The outside area is gorgeous and the whole place is done to a very high standard.
