« My wife and I stayed a couple of nights with our dog, as we were visiting a nearby dog rescue. The room was clean, nicely decorated and well equipped with kettle, tea, coffee, milk, towels and toiletries. Good shower and nice sized bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had an excellent meal at the restaurant. If we ever find ourselves in the area again we will definitely return. »

« Very nice place. Very clean and updated. Loved having bathrooms in every bedroom. Lots of storage space for clothing and suitcases. Easy walk to the castle and restaurants. Only recommendation would be to have a coffee pot for those that prefer coffee over tea. Otherwise close to perfection. 10/10 would recommend. »

« It was a delight to hear the wildlife, and nothing else (!), during my stay at The Hideaway. - Quite refreshing. The accommodation has all one needs, but the emphasis has to be towards the “outdoors”, the tranquillity it offers and marvellous views of the countryside. Walks galore on your doorstep, or just find a spot to sit and take it all in. Well worth a visit. »

« A wonderful property. Secluded area, but still close to everything. The property was very clean and exactly as you see on the photos. In fact the photos don’t do the place justice. Would absolutely stay again. Would be great to stay in the summer and fire up the BBQ. Unfortunately we stayed mid October and it was a little wet! »
