Je ne recommande pas pour long séjour
Chambre vieillotte , nourriture décevante, personnel froid ....politiquement poli (mise à part le barman du soir et le garçon du centre de sport qui étaient sympathiques ). Heureusement la piscine et la salle de sport sont agréables, bien que fermée le lundi sans être prévenu ! Chambre : Propreté passable, ne regardez pas sous le lit vous trouverez de quoi manger ! Et Faites la poussière dans les tiroirs avant de les utiliser....

Manque d'ouverture de la part du personnel. Ne fait pas tout pour satisfaire el client, tel changer de chambre à la suite d'uen erreur de réservation. Il y a avait de la place!

Not worth the price
Pretty disappointed with this hotel located very close to the motorway, very difficult to sleep if your room face it. Then the breakfast is quite poor, scrambled eggs look so fake, and you can't get a hot chocolate because the machine is at the bar, which is closed in the morning ! Last thing, don't use the laundry if you leave on next day, they might not return it back in time, in my case i had to wait the next day. Only comment from reception :" sorry about that". Oh and then they return me my shirt, and the costum from another gentleman. Too bad it was not my size ! So,clearly not an address to remember

The hotel is impressive from the outside and looks quite upmarket. Inside is reasonably clean and tidy. The carpets are a bit tired in the rooms and hallways and the room had hairs on the headboards. The rooms was extremely warm and a 4 inch opening window did nothing to alleviate a very warm room.

A great hotel choice outside of the Ikea charge zone. The reception area, dining area and rooms were all lovely and well presented. Lots of food options (restaurant, bar, room service) at varying prices. Was on the more dear side but Aldershot is close by if you wanted something different. We enjoyed the use of the health facilities and the pool which the children really liked having as a feature of the hotel. Breakfast had a good standard buffet style choice.

Due to the automated check in & check out I didn’t get to see a a staff member throughout my stay. Hotel has a good location and well kept for an old building. Didn’t seem to be a lift

My first time in giving the HOGS BACK A BAD REVIEW 4 sockets in my room not repaired during my stay (223) Vents in the Spa area changing room (M) dirty Young staff on booking in (spa/gym/pool) lazy re needs to be looking and training given Spa area below standard NO Phone in the room if you have an Emergency and you have a discharged Mobile or no mobile how do you call for HELP

Good
It is a beautiful building and with comfortable bed and spacious room. However, the whole building was so worn we were literally had the windows opened. I am not e why it was so hot in the whole premises.

Great stay
Room was really good . Bed & linen very comfy. Food was excellent in restaurant at both evening meal & breakfast Sadly no draft as prob but was not hotels fault . Would recommend The Hogs Back particularly close po stay if you are visiting for Pirbright /Camberley Army Training camps etc.

As you did not stay with us, we find it difficult to understand how you could possibly review your stay at the hotel. I understand your frustraton with not being able to get a refund , but you did book the cheaper non refundable rate and the terms and conditions were clear when the reservation was made

The stay in the room was good however the receptionist was quite rude to us when we went to ask about filling the kettle up. Her tone wasn't nice and neither was her telling us to fill the kettle up using the sink in the bathroom as we found that unhygienic.

Lovely hotel in general, good location but can be a touch noisy with A31 next to it. Lovely and clean, small ladybird cluster in room but no issues, but found room very warm.

Nice property with fantastic staff, I was going to an event close by but forgot to print the tickets, so asked reception if they would mind printing them for me, which they kindly did. Once I had returned home I realised I had left behind my Apple pen, when I contacted the hotel regarding this they were able to locate the pen and return it to me, thank you

All rather average, below expectation
Room was ok size, but everything looked a bit tired. Mould around the window, no air-con - which I would have expected for the price. Breakfast was OK but again the breakfast room was grubby, and plenty of empty tables that hadn't been cleaned away. The staff I dealt with were all pleasant and helpful, but for the price I had higher expectations of this hotel.

Lovely - but probably nicer in winter!
The hotel is lovely, rooms are clean and it is a beautiful place to stay. Unfortunately my room was red hot, despite the provided fan, and I had drunk all the provided water and used towels to dampen and lay across me in the night. I left the hanger asking for my room to be made up and when it wasn't, I checked with reception and was told that housekeeping only visit a room every "three or four days". The staff couldn't have been more helpful though - it was lovely to see them interact with some of the more elderly and less able guests too.
