Maison sur la colline, nichée dans les bois

Profitez de notre maison confortable à proximité de la ville mais toujours isolée dans les bois, beaucoup d'espace pour vous et vos amis, dispose également d'un petit étang de pêche. Près de la cave, ATV park "ST. JOE State park ", vélo de montagne et vélo de route, plongée sous-marine aux mines de Bonne Terre, natation aux Johnson Shut-ins, Bar-B-Que grill, ce sera comme le camping, mais dans une maison. Dispose d'un garage attenant pour 2 voitures pour se garer à l'intérieur et de nombreuses places de stationnement en cercle.
Je suis disponible pour répondre à toutes vos questions entre 6h30 et 21h00.

Two night stay for a family wedding in the area

Very impressive place. Clean and cozy. Great outdoor sitting space. Private place tucked away in the woods off pavement. Paved circle drive way made parking a trailer very easy. I will stay at this property again.

Perfect House on the Hill
We stayed here for our family reunion at the river. It was the perfect distance to our family & the river. It offered a quiet, nice, cool place to stay at the end of a hot humid day at the river. Beds were comfy. Plenty of kitchen utensils and a Keurig to use! We would definitely rent again.

Great house
We came in tired and late and was so relieved to find a nice cozy house. The bed slept amazing, the kitchen was so roomy, we were down for a truck show and I was a vendor so the closeness to the park was amazing. The kitchen was such a help and my little girl loved the swing and slide. Overall we loved it

The house was quaint and for the most part a quiet part of town, you could hear the highway all hours, but not too bad. We would stay here again on another trip to see old friends and family

This property was great. It's on a large piece of land with lots of room outside and plenty of parking with its circle drive. It's also located on a quite dead end street with minimal traffic. Brock was very friendly and helpful. We would stay there again.

Nice older home and location
I was disappointed that the 2nd bathroom was very rustic in an unfinished basement. We took another couple and expected 2 regular bathrooms. My husband tried the basement shower and pipes were clanking so we all just used the one upstairs. That being said, if you don’t need the 2nd bathroom, we were very satisfied. Nice kitchen!

Very comfortable house. Beautiful setting.
This was exactly what we wanted. Our group was me, my husband, his brother and wife. We live about 6 hours apart and don’t get to see each other often. Enjoyed the whole time sightseeing and just being together in the house. We did have a problem with the tv and messaged through Vrbo. Could have been user error. Did not get a response. But, really didn’t go there to watch tv and it was nice to not have it for 3 days. Definitely would recommend this house!

The shower did not work. A huge live brown recluse spider crawled out from my pillow as we turned covers back. It looked like house needed maintenance. Bathroom appeared clean though shower not working. After the spider incident we were concerned there would be more and were not comfortable staying there so we left to find another place to spend the night. Host did not respond in a timely matter at all. We have requested a refund on two occasions but host refuses to respond to that question even though we have sent actual photos of the spider on the bed that has been unused . ( after killing it of course!)

Quiet Location, Easy to Find
We were on a huge road trip from TX to MN/WI, and then back to TX. This property was a short drive from the highway and very easy to find. It was also a short trip into town. We enjoyed walking along the road and seeing the wildlife, and we had a great take out dinner/breakfast from downtown.

Okay for the price. Could use some maintenance.
It was okay. This is an older home that has some improvements. The bathroom was newer, but the rest of the house is dated. The owner offers access to Netflix and Amazon Prime, but the internet was out. There is no cable or satellite offered, so no TV at all. With the internet out there was no WiFi for the phone, iPads, or laptop. Additionally, light bulbs were out above the sink and in the oven. Minor inconveniences, but still notable. Simple thing like a night stand in each bedroom would make the stay more enjoyable. It’s a little off putting to step into the shower and find multiple bottles of shampoo, conditioner and bars of soap cluttering the shelves. It would be a good idea to dispose of all of that after each visit. But, overall for the price it was fine.

Quiet and convenient for Farmington and vicinity
The house was just right for the four of us. Clean and tidy. Easy to get to. Close enough to town, but nice and quiet. It was nice to come "home" after a day out instead of a motel room. If you want absolute quiet though, check the schedule for the St. Francois Co. Fairgrounds and Speedway. There was an event over the weekend. Not obtrusive by any means, (couldn't hear it inside) but if you're sitting outside you could hear very fast cars driving somewhere on the other side of the trees. It was a bit confusing when we first heard it. Brock was very quick and helpful when there was a hiccup with the wifi.
