We hosted our son’s wedding at this house with lots of people from both families. There was plenty of room for everyone. Fortunately there was help from everyone in keeping the place clean. The host was helpful with our only issue regarding a locked thermostat.

It was the perfect place for our family gathering of nearly 40 people of all ages. There is a lot of room to spread out and have different activities going on simultaneously. The wrap around deck is amazing! The views are spectacular. It is remote enough that it is a very peaceful setting.

Welton Woods is a beautiful home in Utah! The house is large enough for our family reunion, accommodating adults and children. The spacious living room and balcony are large enough for many to gather, and we especially enjoyed the large dining room table where all of us could eat together. The balcony view is spectacular! Watching the sunset each night was a special treat. With the hot tub, theater and game room, everyone had something to do. Cooking in the large kitchen was easy. Lots of cookware and counterspace available. The property manager is extremely quick to respond to questions and helped make our stay a memorable one.

This was a beautiful lodge in a beautiful location. It was a fabulous place for our large family to gather - lots of space for group games and intimate conversations. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to prepare all of the meals we planned. Thank you, Welton Woods!

We had an unexpectedly great time, it’s always great to reconnect with family… that said, this venue was a game changer. We all had plenty of space while being able to be together often. Everyone, all 24 of us. Had an unforgettable time and we are already planning next year.

Fantastic as always

We enjoyed a retreat to the mountains for fall break. Our group included my wife, our kids, some close friends, and some of our family members of all ages We had a fantastic time cooking in the spacious kitchen including making chocolate from cocoa beans, cupcake decorating, a chocolate tasting, and amazing breakfasts and dinners. The day was filled with hikes and game time with a few friendly competitions and the kids put on their traditional theater style play. Evenings were filled with spa time in the hot tub and sauna, enjoying our favorite collage football team’s game, the NFL Red Zone and a few movie nights in the theater It snowed and our teens bounced back and forth between the hot tub and building a snowman which was an experience they won't forget We can’t wait to visit again as this has become a favorite for all

Perfect Fall Get Away

We loved Welton Woods for our work retreat! It was the perfect fall getaway with all the fun fall colors surrounding the cabin. We loved using the fire pits, watching movies all together in the theater room and cooking in the amazing kitchen. Can't wait to come back again for another work retreat.

Perfect Property and Perfect Location

We really could not have had a better experience at Herriman Cross Country Camp at Welton Woods. Every year, we reserve a large property to hold our camp, and the kids (and adults) all agreed that this was the best year yet because of Welton Woods! The property had everything we needed and more! It was almost as if it was designed with our camp in mind. The girls' and the boys' rooms were perfect so the kids could all stay together comfortably and have time to bond. The chaperones loved that the boys and girls were separated by two floors. All the chaperones stayed on the main floor. The theater room made clinics and presentations not only easy for the coach, but comfortable for kids because everyone had a place to sit. We also loved the fire pit, the sauna, game room, and hot tub. The property was squeaky clean and had everything we needed to cook meals for 45 people with runner appetites. We also loved that the deck had enough seating so that the kids could eat outside and enjoy the beautiful views at every meal. There were so many things for the kids to do during their free time. We cannot say enough good things about this property and about Emma--she was so responsive to all our questions. The property was also very close to some of the most beautiful runs the team has ever done, so they also loved their time away from the cabin while they ran. Thank you for a great week!

Fun family reunion

The property was beyond our wildest imagination! It was so large and had the most gorgeous panoramic views. There was plenty of room for all of our people and the ability to have everyone in the same dining area made our meals special. Two thumbs up!

We had a family reunion here. The house is beautiful, very clean, everything in good condition. Easy communication with property manager. Of note the last part of the drive is a bit steep, AWD is best for this if possible.

Wonderful family reunion lodge

Our family of 40 had a wonderful stay at Welton Woods. The location was beautiful. We really enjoyed the view from the deck. The kitchen was great for our big group, and it was very well stocked with everything we needed. The ice maker was a real bonus that we loved. The beds were all comfortable and made up with nice linens. We also had fun with the pool and ping pong tables and the theatre room. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Emma was so great to work with and she was very quick to respond to any questions we had.

Second Time a Charm!

We stayed at Welton Woods 12 years ago with our family and loved it then. We have grown to a family of nearly 50! We wanted a special venue to connect with our children and grandchildren and immediately thought of this great property. It didn’t disappoint! Every step was easy from booking to check in and check out! Emma was so attentive and quickly answered all our questions. The nice welcome goodies were a nice touch. Our family enjoyed every minute of our stay. There was plenty of room for everyone. The two bunk rooms gave all the grandkids a bed. There were lots of games and toys. The pool table and ping pong were the favorites. We loved the movie room too. The views off the deck were amazing. So many great memories with the family. We highly recommend this great property. The kitchen was fully equipped and all the nice amenities were great. Hope to return soon !

The Best House for a Men's Leadership Retreat

We hosted 24 men in this fantastic home. There was space for all of us very comfortably. The home was perfect, clean, and set up for us to enjoy. Emma, the host, was the best, supporting us and getting us everything we needed. We love, love, love this house and would love to use it again. We cannot recommend it enough for big gatherings or retreats. Thank you!!!!!!

Work Retreat

My team had crushed it over the past few months, and I had been searching for a way to say," thank you." I thought off a few different ways to show that appreciation, but nothing felt right. A friend of mine told me about Welton Woods and a retreat they had done, so I decided to check the place out and I'm so glad I did. It was awesome to get away for a few days and be away from everything. The views, the cabin, the sauna, the cabin, the movie room, and I could go on. What an amazing time we had! Amazing off-Site Retreat!

Brought down a group of 12 leaders from my company for an off-site retreat and it was amazing! We had plenty of space and loved being able to use the kitchen for cooking together and being able to all eat at one table. The lodge had so many wonderful amenities, I feel like I needed to stay another week to be able to use them all! Wonderful stay, beautiful lodge, great location!

Unforgettable White Christmas

Our family shared an unforgettable Christmas experience at the Welton Woods Lodge. The property and location were perfect for our Christmas gathering. The lodge comfortably fit us all and had all the accommodations and fun we could dream of -- from Nativity reenactments by a cozy fireplace to putting together puzzles in the game room and watching Christmas movies in the theatre room. The appliances worked perfectly, the rooms were decorated with fun themes, and the surrounding woods and snow made for some fun family activities. We hope to make Welton Woods a part of our family traditions.

Youth group retreat

Took a group of 25+ people up for the weekend and was a perfect setting for outdoors (fire pits) plus lots of indoor activities when it was cold. All the amenities you need to cook for large groups plus plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Didn’t feel like we were crowded at all. The theatre room was great for presentations and guest speakers.

Family reunion

A wonderful home big enough to accommodate our 6 married children and our 24 grandchildren with room to spare. It rained several days that we were there so it was nice that there was so much to do inside. Plenty of seating for meals. The large deck provided beautiful views of the valley and a pleasant place to eat. Plenty of parking and a spacious master bedroom and bathroom. Loved our stay.

Perfect for our Family Reunion

We loved this property for our family reunion. The game area, theater, main living space and wrap around deck were all used. Plenty of sleeping space for our group of 40. Emma was so great to work with and responded right away to any questions we had. Loved it and would definitely book again!
