Bon hôtel
Très jolie chambre avec une belle hauteur sous plafond (attention toutefois avec les fenêtres en hauteur sans volet, à éviter si vous êtes sensibles à la lumière du jour le matin). Gérante moyennement aimable au début quand elle affirmait que nous n’avions pas de réservation, mais ça s’est détendu une fois qu’elle a bien voulu regarder plus précisément dans ses papiers. Petit déjeuner limité mais agréable à prendre sur la terrasse à l’étage. Emplacement pas mal, à côté de plusieurs restaurants.

The layout of the room was a little odd (a window between the room and the shower) but it was clean and comfortable and the proprietor was nice

Clean room, conveniently located
The hotel room was clean and comfortable. It had a futon, coffee table, bed, and fireplace. The bathroom had a jacuzzi tub, but read the sign on the wall on how to operate the shower. The exterior had some seating areas that were nice and had plants, but could have been cleaner. The hotel is jammed between a movie theatre and restaurant on either side, with a restaurant/bar in front of the hotel, so you can't see it from the street too well. The hotel is conveniently located in town, so you can walk to anywhere, although it's mostly restaurants around. This is not a B&B, and the hotel does NOT offer daily breakfast. At check-in, I received a bag with 2 water bottles, and a few breakfast bars that was it for the entire stay. The hotel is big on staying contactless, so you can't enter the lobby, you'll have to check in at the night window. They offer maid service, but you have to confirm that you are not in the room when the staff enters the room. Overall it's a good place to stay.

This is a very bare bones inn located in the heart of the town. It is walkable to bars restaurants and shops. The room was fine - bed was comfortable. However, there is no breakfast, no ice machine, no fridge, no coffee maker and no room cleaning. It is also right next to a lively bar. That didn't bother me because I sleep with a noise machine, but it could bother others. It is in the perfect location if you are attending a retreat at Spirit Rock. I would stay there again for that purpose. But now I know what to expect.

Great little inn.
Clean room, friendly staff. Did not provide continental breakfast or coffee but we did receive a goodie bag with bottles of water, breakfast bars, and cookies. Anyway there's a plethora of places to eat and get coffee within walking distance so it wasn't a problem in any way. The bathtub has water jets! We visited during warm weather and the ceiling fan and air conditioning together made our stay not only bearable but downright pleasant. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to spend time in Fairfax. It's also within walking distance of Deer Park Villa, so this is the perfect place to stay off attending a wedding there, as we did!

This place doesn't actually offer breakfast fyi even though that remains listed as an amenity. I arrived and checked in without incident. I was told about the no breakfast after all thing. When my fiance and I bedded down, we ordered some Thai food and immediately recieved a phone call from the owner asking whether or not the Thai food delivery person was either a secret guest of ours or had a secret cat. That actually made me pretty uncomfortable. If you don't mind the no breakfast and being interrogated on visitors, the room was very nice and you should do fine here.

Older property that needs updating. Kept very clean but worn out. Bar next door is loud on weekend nights. Location is downtown Fairfax and walkable for everything needed.

We booked this hurriedly at the last minute due to an oversight in our planning. We were pleasantly surprised by the room with its size, layout and furnishings. Everything was very clean and the room was quite comfortable. The location is perfect with several shops and restaurants in walking distance. I would definitely stay again if in the area.

This place was centrally located in town and was easy to get into and out of while experiencing what the town had to offer! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the area! There were no ice machines, nor refrigerator, however, everything else was nice!

Old Hotel in a nice homey old-school town
Hotel is dated. Room is small. Light came through the windows at night. Heat and air conditioning was so-so. TV had limited channels. Next door is a great restaurant and there are 2 really good coffee shops less than 1 block away.

The bed was about 3 feet high. The room lacked adequate plug points near the bed. That said, many of the other things like the bathroom and the toiletries were high quality for this class, so I would stay again.

Nice hideaway
This hidden hotel in the heart of Fairfax is the perfect location for anyone traveling to the area. There is parking but you won't need it, as most of what you need is within walking distance. The two rooms we have stayed in are spacious and while older, there have been updates, such as the bathroom. Fireplace is out of order but it wasn't needed.

Once nice hotel, now going down hill.
Fairfax is nice friendly town. Hotel is walking distance from everything. Hotel is going down hill though. Appears to have been a really nice place until current management took over as evidenced by the nice thoughtful design, but lack of maintenance. We stayed in two different rooms. Moved because TV failed in first room and manager could not fix. Moved during "continental breakfast" period. After move, wife asked for bagel. Manager says, "No, breakfast is over". Both rooms had signs saying do not open windows. I opened anyway. I need cool fresh air. They had old computer printed signs in both rooms on fireplaces saying "do not use, working diligently to fix". BS. Shower had new, cheap plastic 5 dollar shower head installed. Numerous wall patches were not painted. Cheap mattresses had cheap mattress cover that kept popping the sheets off, leaving me waking on the bare mattress. Carpets were dirty and had multiple stains. Numerous parking spots occupied by management cars with several coned off. This place could be nicer and command a higher price if management were not so cheap.

Good, basic motel. Clean, but not particularly well maintained. Their wifi didn't extend to our room (11) and you could hear the bass from the bands playing in the neighboring club every night. Good location in fun Fairfax. Good price.

Stayed for 1 night. The room was very nice, pretty large and cozy and we liked the bath/shower very much. AC was old and not efficient, but it's cool outside, so we're OK with open windows. The bed is not too comfortable, but it's OK. The comforter and pillows were dirty, as was the sofa. while linens and towels were fine. Free Internet was kind of joke: there was no service in our room and it was a little better if you get closer to the office.

Good location and good room for me. Staff take care of my bike to keep in side of the room and really appreciate for their kind services. Also the jet bus gave me a good relaxing. I would stay again.

Bed uncomfortable and worn out, fireplace broken, no continental breakfast supplied as advertised, AC filter had never been cleaned or changed making use both sick and rendering the unit unusable, only one robe with two people checked in, towels felt like cardboard and numerous light bulbs burnt out. When ask front desk about light bulbs, I was told they are no longer made. I stated that the fixture should then be changed with no response. When I asked about towels, I was just told that they use softener in every load. We stayed for 10 days for the excellent proximity to town and family, but next time I will stay in another town and drive.

We were in Fairfax for a wedding. The location was perfect as we could walk to coffee shops, resataurants , etc. the price was reasonable and the owner was nice and came immediately to change a lightbulb that was out.. The building was cute and had a nice outdoor sitting area. However, the rooms are definitely dated. It was clean, but old carpeting and furniture. And, there was a smell in our room..probably from some cleaning product for stain removal? I did not complain about it, but I was very sensitive to it. Overall, our stay was fine. If the rooms were updated, I think they could charge much more and I'd be happy to pay it!
