The room was somewhat dirty, with hair scattered around the bathroom, and smell was bad. I hope they thoroughly cleaned the room. Since the mall and Starbucks are very close to the hotel, it was convenient to explore the area.

Good value for stay in Northern Virginia/DC area
Johnny was very helpful and accommodating when I checked in. This is a very reasonable hotel to spend a night in, in an area where hotels are extremely expensive. The Fair Oaks mall is literally across the street making it convenient for shopping or getting a bite to eat.

Aside from being right off a pretty confusing stretch off multi-highway, multi-level, multi-lane, multi-exit ramps, being surrounded by toll roads (you have to pay to use the freeway here, 66 and 495, 24/7), and the seemingly incessant heavy traffic… the hotel itself is great! I mean it. And not having to drive to the mall or a coffee shop really might save years of your life compared to driving anywhere for. any. thing. any. time.

This hotel was extremely clean, and the day shift front desk staff was very professional and nice. That's about the extent of the good things I can say about this particular hotel. I needed two rooms (one for me, one for my dad) since my mom is in a local hospital. Originally we were given rooms 101 and 102. 101 was ok but the A/C unit kept turning off (even in Auto mode), but in room 102 the A/C unit was EXTREMELY LOUD. The front desk moved me to room 105, where the A/C unit was fine, but when I turned on the light in the bathroom, the fan made sounds like automatic gunfire. I said oh well and lived with it. From 9pm-2am the following things happened: An entire FAMILY moved in to room 103 and kept hitting both walls (hitting rooms 101 and 105 now), kept the TV on loud, a dog was barking, and people kept getting locked out of their room and pounding on it. At one point, someone started smoking weed. At 12:45am I asked room 103 to be quiet; they basically said yeah sure but then ignored me. At 1:30am someone got locked out of their room and screamed and banged up and down the hallways. I asked the nightshift front desk guy to talk to room 103, but he was busy trying to convince another person that there were no rooms available. As I was leaving, I overheard him tell another person that he's not paid enough to police customer activities. My father in room 101 complained about the A/C but was told he was SOL. We could not get out of there fast enough.

This is a total dump which should be closed. Dirty, smells horrible, run down, rude staff, breakfast was a joke, no attempt to clean my room during my stay. The room had used sheets when I checked in, the towels were old and worn out. The hotel association should not allow people to do business like this.

It was nice being by the mall. Unfortunately a pair of my wife's jeans were stolen from our room. I could tell someone had entered our room as the fan was turned off.

I left after the toilet in the second room didn’t work. I should’ve known when there was a plunger provided. The sheets were clearly used in both rooms, even had lipstick and other stains. Gross!

This hotel was physically dirty, the walls, floors and dirty sheets. Everything about this place was disgusting. The reviews were so accurate and honestly worst then I could imagine. Everything in this hotel was dirty and stained. These room’s definitely are not cleaned it was a joke. Avoid at all costs!!!!
