This spacious 3BR/2BA family home offers peace, quiet and tranquility with easy access to Rocky Mountain National Park. Just a short drive away from downtown Estes Park, this home is perfectly located for all your Rocky Mountain adventure needs.
Enjoy relaxing on the spacious wraparound deck with a propane grill and fantastic mountain views. The main living spaces are on the upper level of this home requiring stairs. The living room features elevated ceilings with beautiful a-frame windows that showcase the mountains. The main level offers a gas stove with a cozy living area, including a flat-screen TV.
The open-concept kitchen has plenty of room for family cooking, and the dining table folds out to comfortably seat six. To the right of the living and kitchen areas are two queen bedrooms, separated by a full bathroom with a shower.
The spiral staircase leads to the lower level, which features the master bedroom with a king-size bed, across from the master bathroom with a shower. On this level you will also appreciate the full size washing machine and dryer in the laundry room. As an extra bonus, the lower level also has a sun room with a ping pong table and a queen sleeper sofa.
With plenty of windows, this home is light, bright and airy while at the same time affording the peace and tranquility that comes from being nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Reserve your stay at Starlight in the Rockies today!

Estes Park is a Dark Sky Community. Bring a Flash Light.

BEARS in the area - secure trash, lock doors and windows when leaving.

This home does not have a weekly trash pick up service. Trash will be picked up at departure. If necessary, trash will be picked up mid-stay for a nominal fee. Call the office at 970-480-8845. Trash must not overflow the bear proof trash can or be stored in the garage or home.

We reserve the right to conduct a property safety check during long term stays.

Local On-Call Staff available after hours for emergency issues only, i.e. gas leak, broken furnace, broken water line.

Snow removal at 4 inches of new snow on your arrival day.

Management provides a starter kit of amenities to get you through your first day, including: an extra roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, one extra roll of paper towels, 2-3 garbage bags, sample-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner, small bar soap, 2-3 laundry powder packs, 4-5 dishwashing pods, liquid dishwashing soap, and a single brew coffee pack. Guests will need to provide or purchase additional toiletries and products as needed beyond this starter kit.
Long-term reservations of 14+ days require mid-stay property safety checks or mid-stay cleans, additional trash pickups. Safety checks are at no additional charge. Mid-stay cleanings include linens change, floors, bathrooms and light surface cleaning. Mid-stay services are charged to the guest, and charges can only be added after your reservation is made. Management will call the guest directly for payment for the required services. Call our office for details.

Great location

Beautiful location very close to National Park. Needs air conditioning, but it was labeled as not having it. We loved being outside on the deck. Gorgeous views. We would rent again for sure if there was new patio furniture. The current chairs are in very bad shape.Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Great lodging near nature

This house was perfect for our stay in the mountains and allowed for very easy access to both the main area of the town and the Rocky National Park entrance. During the peak heat of the day the house was quite hot, but sitting outside on the deck was perfect for my family and very relaxing.

Outstanding experience

I had high expectations for this location and it did not disappoint. It's perfectly located between downtown Estes Park and the Bear Lake entrance to RMNP. Four adults and three kids stayed comfortable (two queen beds and one king) and the views were gorgeous. Very clean, user friendly, they had a ping pong table, and took care of all the small details with great communication. I've stayed in Estes a dozen times and now have a new favorite place.

Great for families

The home was just as described and very clean. It fit our family of 4 with 2 young adult children perfectly. On 2 occasions, we had elk in the front yard which was fun to see and photograph from a safe distance. We also made good use of the ping pong table. Each bathroom was stocked with a hotel sized shampoo and conditioner so if you are staying more than a few days or have more than 4 people, you will need to bring your own. A sample sized bag of coffee was provided but there was no sugar/sweetener or creamer provided so you'll need that from the grocery. Check-out instructions were simple with minimal tasks to complete before leaving.

Weekend in Estes Park

This house is very close to downtown & RMNP. The highlight of our stay was the morning elk in the backyard. Downside: The pictures need to be updated. The pictures make the house look larger than it is. The bedding, decor & doors have been changed. The well used couches need to be replaced. There was two couples that stayed in the home. We took the back bedroom. It was warm where the front bedroom was freezing. The beds were very soft. We were thankful we brought our own pillows. The downstairs with the king bed & small bathroom felt like a dingy basement. The washer & dryer do not work well. Two pods were left for our 2 night stay & no dryer sheets. I did notify the owner of two issues with the home with no response. We have stayed at several properties, do not take this review as an overly picky guest. The elks in the morning would have us stay here again, we would just be more prepared for what we have available.

What a great location!

Excellent location! While it's literally a short walk to several restaurants, groceries, and the new Bird's Nest coffee shop...you still feel like you're away from town and nestled in the mountains. And only about 5 minutes from the entrance to RMNP. The home was very clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching Elk graze in the yard almost every morning and late afternoon. The communication for check in and check out was perfect. We visit Estes Park once or twice a year and will definitely plan to stay here again in the future.

Great location!

My partner and I shared the house with my brother, his wife, and his 2 kids ( 3 and 15mos). The location was amazing - super close to RMNP and also downtown. The only thing I would suggest for families is that the home is not ideal for tiny ones. We were unable to affix a baby gate in front of the stairs and it was not ideal. Kids over 3 would probably be fine!

The property was clean and definitely served our needs. There were many restaurants close by to choose from and in walking distance for most. ( we're 3 seniors in not the best physical conditions and we made it!) We were disappointed in the board games available since most were missing pieces but were happy to donate our Racko and Phase 10 games. Would definitely stay again.

The home was perfect for our visit to Estes Park and RMBP.

The home is 3 bed with 2 beds on the upper main floor with Jack n Jill bath. The access to the lower level where you will find the 3rd bed and 2nd bath is accessed by spiral stairs which are a bit tight but worked for us. The home was clean and the laundry was nice to have available. Appliances appeared to be fairly new. The only issue is ventilation on the main floor as the big windows do not open and other openings are minimal. The deck was great for enjoying the evening cool air.

Great property!

We loved this property. So close to RMNP, super clean, all the amenities and tons of space. Our only issue is there wasn’t air conditioning and it was quite warm on a few afternoons. Lots of fans and cool on the patio! Beautiful spot and would stay there again.

Wonderful stay in the Rockies

This house was a perfect place to stay when we visited RMNP. It was close to the entrance to the national park and the downtown Estes Park area, but far enough out that the neighborhood was quiet. The house has a cabin feel to it and could possibly use a few updates here and there, but the kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed watching the deer and other animals graze in the yard. Thanks for a great stay!
