Work Vacation
I spent the month of March is this fabulous unit, as a work vacation. I would sit at the dining room table looking out at the sea and the Rock of Gibraltar. The facilities in the apartment are first rate, very clean. The local property manager Rosa is amazing and very easy to reach should you require any assistance. The location is amazing, a wonderful walk along the boardwalk to the town. Great restaurants near by and the facilities in the unit are certainly conducive to cooking a great meal. The weather was a little cool and rainy when I was there, but there is unit is so well laid out and lots of places to get off on your own (3 terraces), should you just want to read or enjoy the view. A car would be helpful, however, it is easy to get around by taxi. The taxis arrive in under 5 minutes after calling. I would highly recommend this property whether it is for a work vacation or just a vacation. Lots of wonderful day trips that are easily accessible. The owner is wonderful and obviously has great pride in her property. 5 star rating!!!!!

Matilde The Magnificent !
Matilde saved not only the day but our entire trip to Spain by responding promptly, late in the day, to our request as our booked property was beyond awful in terms of cleanliness and basic hygiene. All was arranged within a couple hours and we were able to shift properties and check in smoothly. We were met by Matildes brother who couldnt have been more awesome and helpful and managed to even sort out a baby cot for us. We were also met for keys and check in by the housekeeper who was fantastic. The property is stunning and everything was just perfect! We wouldn't consider staying anywhere else when we next return! Thank you ever so much!!

Resort living
This property offered all that it promised! Any questions we had were quickly addressed by propert manager. We have 4 young adult children that accompanied us. They loved the rooftop pool/decks and walkable gym and restaurant. My husband and I loved the modernized bed and bathroom and the Nespresso coffee pods. It was very much like resort living. We walked to the grocery store and stocked up for breakfast, coffee pods and snacks. The restaurant was great for dinner! It was a great convenience to have a washing machine and things dried very quickly as the washer was off the kitchen in a private covered outdoor area. The only complaint was that the twin bed mattresses were VERY hard. Otherwise, we would gladly return and highly recommend.

The process was simple and straightforward, the owner went out of their way to answer all of our questions. The apartment is very well appointed and had everything we needed. Very close to shops and amenities. Lovely views .

Wonderful stay
From the time we checked in it was an amazing penthouse . It had everything that we needed for our stay, nice and quiet building with a seaside walking trail to downtown. I would definitely recommend this property.

Very fine private penthouse.
Excellent penthouse in a secure complex within walking distance of restaurants and Kempinski Hotel. The apartment is of a high standard, well maintained with modern fixtures and fittings. Good friendly communication with the owner and property manager who checked on occasions to ensure that all was well. Rooftop pool a plus and other terraces offered plenty of space to spend time around the property. We preferred not to drive and found Uber or local taxis available (10 minutes to Estepona). The apartment was very comfortable and happy to consider another stay in the future. Thank you Matilde, Noemi and Kathy for all your friendly assistance. T.

An absolute hidden gem!
We were a family of four looking for somewhere not so busy during peak season and we were not disappointed. This place is so quiet it’s hard to be believed- my son was often the only one in the pool and there were always sun loungers all day. It felt so safe for the children and was a lovely community. The apartment itself is just like the pictures - absolutely beautiful, so much space and really well equipped. It just was everything we’d hoped for and more. I really appreciated the little details like the playing cards, reading books and tennis rackets. The bathrooms were brilliant- rain shower and jacuzzi bath!! We did have a car and I think the walk into town would have been too far for us personally every night but we saw lots of people getting taxis. There’s a supermarket just up the road as well and you can walk five minutes to get to a nice bit of sandy beach. The owner was so friendly and accommodated an early check in. It was just a pocket of sunny relaxation for us and we loved it. I hope we get to return one day.

Beautiful apartment in a great location
The apartment is really well equipped with everything you need on your holiday. The private pool is much bigger than expected - loved spending time there and relaxing on the various terraces to choose from. The communal pools were also large and never really crowded so there was lots of room to have a swim without trying to work around others. The apartment was a short walk to the resort area of Laguna Beach and a short drive into Estepona which is without doubt the prettiest spot on the whole coast. Thank you to Mathilda”e, Kathy and Noemi for making communication so easy. Can thoroughly recommend this apartment.

A beautiful apartment with fabulous facilities.
We had a lovely stay at the apartment. It is was very clean, comfortable and well maintained. The complex is beautiful and has great facilities. My only complaint is the bed in the master bedroom, whilst being comfortable is not a big bed. For a luxury accommodation which it is, I would have expected a bigger double bed. Other than that our stay was perfect. Thank you to Cathy for being so helpful.

Beautiful beachfront getaway - peaceful and private
From the beginning, Matilde was gracious and responsive, helping us plan for a relaxing holiday getaway with care. Kathy was very accommodating when arranging for arrival and the penthouse apartment is extremely well-stocked, especially in the kitchen and bathrooms. Being that it was winter, the heated floors were a nice touch. The grounds are well kept and the Spa at the Kempinski is just a short walk away. All in all, a wonderful getaway and we hope to return!

Great experience and property
When you dream about the little Spanish and Andalusian white towns. This is it. Estepona is beautiful, flowers are everywhere. The apartment/penthouse's Living areas are very comfortable and spacious the private swimming pool is perfect. Everything was very clean. We sunbath a lot, as we had plenty of sun all day long in one of the many terraces .. Both bedrooms are on the same floor which was a plus. Overall great experience. We will be back.

Great apartment
The apartment and complex is gorgeous. Location wise - it’s a decent walk into town and there is not much around the apartment block. We hired bikes for the duration of our stay and cycled into town each day, which was great (took about 15 mins).

Tolles Apartment in super Location!
Die Einfahrt in die Garage gestaltete sich - wie von anderen Kommentatoren bereits angemerkt - eng und somit nicht so einfach. Mit einem großen/breiten Fahrzeug wirklich eine heikle Angelegenheit. Die Wohnung an sich ist aber wirklich klasse! Sauber, schön, großzügig, hell... was das Herz begehrt! Bei Ankunft hatten die Vermieter einen lieben Gruß in Form einer Flasche Rotwein, einiger kühler Getränke und etwas Wurst für uns deponiert, wir haben uns sehr gefreut! Hand- und Badetücher, wie auch Strandtücher lagen absprachegemäß sauber für uns bereit, die Betten waren bezogen. Die Matratzen aller Betten waren neuwertig und gut. Alles in allem ein sehr gelungener Aufenthalt in einem tollen Apartment in einer wirklich gepflegten Anlage!

I translated your review for all our English speaking guests "The entry into the garage turned out to be narrow and thus not so easy - as already noted by other commentators. With a large / wide vehicle really a delicate matter. The apartment itself is really great! Clean, beautiful, generous, bright ... what your heart desires! Upon arrival, the landlord had a nice greeting in the form of a bottle of red wine, some cool drinks and some sausage for us, we were very happy! Hand and bath towels, as well as beach towels were arranged as agreed clean, the beds were made. The mattresses of all beds were new and good. All in all, a very successful stay in a great apartment in a really well-kept area!"

Amazing! The pictures dont do it justice
Everything from start to finish was just perfect, we were met at the entrance of the complex and shown to the underground car parking space and the around the apartment. The apartment really is special and much better than we expected. Very spacious and clean and the rooftop pool was better than expected. The whole complex is very clean with another communal pool and gym. A 1 minute walk through the complex and you're on the beach with a 10/ 15 minute walk to Laguna village which has a selection of very nice restaurants, coffee shops and shops. There is a huge carrefour a 2 minute drive away, we used this for our food shopping which i wouldn't of wanted to do without a car due to the heat. It could be walked in around 20 minutes though. Puerto Banus is around 20 minutes drive and Marbella around 25mins, we had a car so visited both of these but we also easily got cabs to and from. The security guards were very helpful and booked these for us. All in all we had a great visit and will definitely come back! Thank you Matilde!

Highly recommended!
A fabulous relaxing week in Estapona. The appartment was beautiful and the service we got whilst there from Matildes team was second to non. Estapona is a good 35 minutes walk to great restaurants or a €7 taxi ride. Alternatively take the opposite direction to a restaurant and shopping complex which is a very pretty 15 minute stroll. Would we go again .. definately Would I recommend the appartment .. in a heartbeat. A great week thank you.

Wonderful Apartment Excellent Location
We loved our time in this apartment and it was hard to leave after spending 8 wonderful days here! The apartment was just as described in the listing and we found everything in the unit to be nice and clean and in good working order. We also appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and separate laundry area. The views are amazing from multiple terraces, including views of the sea and the mountains. Plenty of places to relax and enjoy the sun all day long! And you can't beat the location with charming Estepona just down the street and easy access to the highway for day trips to surrounding areas. There's also a large supermarket nearby that was very convenient for stocking up on food and anything else you might need during your stay. Matilde and Kathy were very helpful and responded quickly to all of our inquiries before our arrival and during our stay. We highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Southern Spain and the Costa del Sol!

Beautiful and Amazing
We totally enjoyed our time at this beautiful apartment. It was beyond what we had hoped for our vacation. The private pool was a very special treat. The views from the top terraces were breathtaking!!! The staff and owners were so helpful and kind!!! We loved our stay and look forward to coming back!!!

Whilst the apartment was OK the beds although I asked beforehand were very uncomfortable and the apartment was NOT spotless - also was told I would receive a basket of seasonal goodies on arrival - one bottle of wine is what we got not even a bottle of water honestly was very dissapointed weather before by the only bonus - plus the fact the knives were all blunt

I’m very surprised by your comments, as I spent a lot of time, for at least 3 months, prior to your check-in and during your stay answering your many questions and special requests. I believe I went above and beyond to please you and Jerry in every way. To reply to your comments: 1) The basket you are referring to it’s not part of the contract and it is left by my niece Kathy as a welcome gift to our customers, and it usually includes a bottle of wine and some snacks/goodies in the fridge. 2)We strive in customer satisfaction and we always emphasize on cleanliness, as you can see by our many satisfied reviewers. Beautiful penthouse apartment in a stunning location
We have just returned from our week long stay in Matilde's stunning penthouse apartment. 'Wow' was our response as we walked through the apartment door. The decor and finish are first class. The stunning swimming pool and views just added the icing on the cake. We had just spent a week in Nerja and so were ready for a week of relaxation. The apartment's gardens and grounds are equally stunning. A lovely walk through them to the beach front. We initially walked to the beach in Estapona but then discovered that the local beach was just as lovely. Lovely local bars and restaurants a short stroll along the boardwalk in Laguna Village. We did not hire a car and were able to walk to the local Carrefour supermarket in 10-15 minutes. Walked into the centre of Estepona during the day although the taxi was preferred on an evening. Very reasonable and easy to book. Matilde was excellent at responding to emails very quickly, as was her neice, Kathy, in the resort. Would highly recommend this apartment and its location and hope to return in the near future.

Gorgeous place with amazing sea views!!!
This luxury, modern, contemporary, clean, tastefully decorated condo was perfect for our family of 5. We stayed 2 weeks. It was bright and airy. I have extremely high standards with regard to accommodations and this place was above and beyond my expectations. It's safe and secure. Includes everything you need. Being in the penthouse, the many open terraces allowed for beautiful sea views. Being with teenagers the second bathroom that could be closed off to make another en suite was practical. The private pool with waterfall a real luxury. The grounds of the complex immaculate and lush. The onsite restaurant faced the beautiful sea view offering the best sangria ever!. Even more breathtaking when dining at night in the the moonlight over the sea. Property staff so friendly. Mathilde and Kathy were extremely helpful. It's centrally located enough although a car is quite useful. Can't wait to go back!

A beautiful piece of paradise!
This property is absolutely gorgeous! It's large and open spaces - both inside and out - were perfect for four friends on a trip of a lifetime! Matilde and Kathy were both super responsive and wonderful to deal with. We spent lots of time on the many outside decks enjoying the private pool, beautiful views and the wonderful ocean breezes! The complex is perfect as well - lush and well maintained with all amenities! The location is perfect for visiting the many beautiful towns in the area - Ronda and Marbella - as well as the beach and the old town of Estepona! Our only regret is that we didn't have more time to just chill out and enjoy the beach and condo! We wouldn't hesitate to rent this space again! Thanks for sharing your little piece of paradise with us Matilde!

Wonderful spot in Estepona - Costa del Sol!
2 couples stayed for 4 nights on a whirlwind trip to Spain. Working with Matilde and Kathy was so easy and trusting! We arrived to Malaga late on train, rented car from Sixt and proceded to unit. Easy drive and no problem finding the complex. Safe and secure as is every area of Spain we visited! Packet with keys and map of complex and directions were left with the guard. Parking garage is quite interesting when driving a larger car! Posts to weave around, but clean and well lit! Matilde has 2 spaces near elevator which was perfect! Some goodies and beverages were available for us which was great! No eating spots right there on Good Friday eve, but easy drive to town and tons of options there, right across from the beach. Unit was very clean, great internet (huge for us to have for business reasons), plenty of space and 2 private bedrooms so each couple had their own bath. Washing machine was a plus as well. Unit is bright and cheery! Up the spiral was another bath, pool and sun decks. Sadly we day toured so never got to utilize this or the other amenities of the complex. We all said we would like to return! We are actually so happy we stayed in Estepona vs Malaga area as more private, relaxing and super easy access to Gibralter, Tariffa (Ferry to Morocco), Ronda etc....Malaga would have been another hour farther. Most are privately held and not leased, so unit was very quiet and comfortable. Grounds were well cared for, easy access to the beach and a lovely walkway. The main level had a wonderful outdoor patio for coffee in the am with a view through to where we could see the ocean! Thank you Matilde for sharing your amazing home with us and the tip to visit Ronda!!

Highly Recommend!
This trip was a very first trip abroad for my son and myself, and not knowing for sure what to expect, we could not have been more pleased. The apartment has very modern amenities, is well appointed with all the comforts of home, and also has excellent security features. The view from the terraces of the Mediterranean and Gibraltar was spectacular. The town of Estepona is charming--especially the old town strip of shops and restaurants along the coast. Estepona is a wonderful central location with easy access for day trips to Ronda, Gibraltar, Malaga, Marabella, and Seville (a bit further trip but worth it). Some of these excursions we took on our own, and others we were able to easily book a last minute guided tour which I would recommend for Seville and Gibraltar. While it is hard to choose, my favorite trip was per Matilde's recommendation--Ronda! Being our first trip, we did have to learn the "hard way" about how to shop for certain necessities (our luggage was lost, so we needed to find specific toiletries and clothing items that were not carried in the European version of "Walmart" called Carrefour. To find items like contact lens solution, bandaids, ibuprofen, OTC allergy meds, etc....one can only go to the "Pharmacia" which are abundant, but separate from other types of stores. We also learned about the siesta portion of the day and to not bother searching for an open restaurant between 4-7pm, haha! And for good reason--the weather is enchantingly breezy and cool after 7pm and this time of year the sun doesn't set until 9:30pm. The property manager, Kathy, was extremely helpful, attentive and kind. We would not hesitate to stay in this same apartment the next time we visit the Costa del Sol! Our one and only suggestion might be for us spoiled Americans with a bit of arthritis....to maybe keep a feather bed mattress topper to add to the Master bed to pull out as an option for those who may need added back cushion/support. I ended up just sleeping on the sofa for the week instead and it slept wonderfully. The beds well very clean and nice, just extra firm :).

Beautiful, modern penthouse for family getaway.
We spend a relaxing long Easter weekend at this lovely apartment with my husband and 2 teenagers. We were welcomed with a complimentary bottle of wine and some supplies in the fridge, both very appreciated after a quite a late arrival. The apartment is beautiful and modern with sea views from its many terraces. The private pool was a great treat and we spend time relaxing in the sun there as well as at the big communal pool. The kitchen is well equipped but I must confess we only had breakfast at the apartment! There were many wonderful places to eat in Estepona, only a short drive or taxi ride away. We enjoyed lunch one day at a beach front cafe just a short walk along the beach and a delicious dinner at the Kempinski Hotel next door on our final evening. I highly recommend this for a relaxing vacation in the Costa del Sol!
