« We really enjoyed our stay, so peaceful and calming, the trees blowing in the wind around us was a calming lovely sound. Our only issue was the kettle leaking every time you poured a drink and the fitted sheet was not big enough for the bed as soon as got on the bed it came off the mattress when trying to put back on you could get one side down but it pulled it away from other end so bigger fitted sheet and definitely deeper fit other than this it was amazing and just what we needed »

« It was very clean, spacious, and modern accommodation with crispy clean beddings and comfortable beds. There was a small but sufficient kitchen with a fridge, hobs, all utensils, cookware etc. There was free tea and coffee available, TV, board games. Safe, free parking was helpful. I travel a lot and I have never given 10 out of 10 to any accommodation before, but I am happy to do it now. »

« Lovely property and lovely staff at pub. Great food and drink and very friendly service. Amazing value stay. Unfortunately heavy rain the night we stayed led to some leaks in property and bubbling drains in early hours of morning which hopefully can be fixed soon. « This was a very nice one bedroom flat that had everything we needed for our stay. Our flat was on the top floor and with heavy luggage it was a bit of a challenge but overall we enjoyed out stay very much and would recommend it to others that want to explore York. »

« This was a great find with free parking outside the front door on a quiet residential street less than 10 minutes walk from the city walls. Lillian met us at check in and we couldn't fault the apartment. It was spotlessly clean, comfortably furnished and well equipped. There was a quality welcome pack in the fridge and the apartment was warm. The best recommendation I can give this property is we would love to stay again »

« Property is well located within walking distance of old city When getting to apartments do not follow google maps as it takes you up steep stairs Keyboard entrance instructions to property could have been clearer with one step missing ie press key symbol to key in code Room itself was good, however bed was uncomfortable, and sofa bed was poor. The pillows are in need of replacing and the instructions of where the linen for the sofa bed was located could have been clearer. »

« A modernised small terraced house with steep stairs and small kitchen in a good location. Some minor niggles like loose toilet seat, stiff door lock and scraping bathroom door. A few more basic supplies like salt and kitchen roll would have helped plus a non-slip mat in the bathroom. »

« If I could give 0 stars I would! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Please do not waste your money like we did!! Let’s start with the communication of the “hotel” asked several times for check in details finally got it a couple hours before on text. Then getting there when inside the hallways smelt terrible we then entered the room where it smelt of smoking. The toilet did not flush and was dirty. We reported this and was never rectified (basic human rights) The room was filthy big clumps of hair hanging off...

The on site pub was convenient after a relaxing visit to the spa. My room was in a quiet location with lovely views. The only negative was the room was a bit chilly on waking. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Very friendly and helpful staff. I would stay here again. »
