It sounds like our cabins were not what you had in mind. They have been so appreciated by many of our visitors, but we recognize the fact that we all have different expectations and needs. As you probably noticed, we do have other options available. We also have new beautifully furnished vacation homes on the hill with a pretty view. Should your travels bring you back to Escalante, we would be happy to see if other options would better satisfy your needs and desires.

Everything was AMAZING about this place. We got in after the oftice closed but our info for checking in was left on the office door. We booked the Big Dipper and it was beautiful, modern and clean! I’m picky and particular about accommodations away from home but I was so relieved to see this place was perfect.

The bed was uncomfortable. The Roku TV had horrible channels and every time we tried to watch apps like Netflix it would play for 10 minutes and freeze up.

We enjoyed our stay at this place.
We arrived late to the property so management had already checked us in & left our cabin info taped to the office door. It was a cozy & clean cabin that could sleep up to 5 people. There were a couple of fruit cups & 2 wedges of quiche in the fridge for breakfast there for us. The bed was comfortable. The heater worked. The place had great amenities & was nicely decorated.

Simple Comfortable Stay
The room was great. Comfortable and very clean. Exactly what we needed for one night after a long day of hiking. There was a slight communication issue with trying to get a hold of anyone after hours, but it all worked out and they are working to correct that.

Couldn't have booked a better lodging option! It first started when I received a text a few days prior to arrival asking how many in our part wanted coffee vs juice. We arrived extremely late into the evening, the staff reached out to me via text earlier in the day and let me know our door code and that our room details would be taped to the office door as we would be late. We arrived to an adorable basket of breakfast options. The cabin was cozy and clean and perfect for our little group. The next morning the staff was extremely helpful and offered up advice on some hikes we had planned. While our stay was only for one night it was amazing.

Gammel og slidt, med en AC eller rettere en luftblæser, som egentlig kun larmede. Myggenet for vinduet var utæt så det kom en del dyr ind. Morgenmad var en kurv med 2 kager + frugt i væde og youghurt på tube. Vi havde bestilt 2 nætter, men blev kun 1 nat. Vi der skal nævnes noget godt så var der et pænt badeværelse.

I’m so sorry you were disappointed. Yes, the cabin was reclaimed and repurposed from a larger cabin so it didn’t just end up in a land fill. Thank you for letting us know about the window screen, and evaporative cooler so we can make corrections. The local bakery provides our baked goods and they are different each day. I’m sorry you were disappointed with the muffin, fruit and yogurt. I am glad you enjoyed the nice bathroom.

Darling room, however there was no place to set or put anything. The functionality of the room would be greatly improved with a nightstand and a dresser as well as some hangers in the small closet space. From the photos we were unable to tell that it was set up as a tiny home with an almost unusable half sink in the bathroom and again no place to set anything. A small but full-sized sink and extra shelving would improve this situation.
