We had a wonderful vacation. The cottage was cute, very clean, and the host was great! Great location! The beach is a very short 2 minute walk, the bay just a 1 minute walk. Short walk to local restaurants. We had a short stay, so we didn't get to use the kayaks, but we did take advantage of the pool. Loved that the property had grills, and a cute outdoor area as well. Lots of dolphins on the bay side, and we even saw some while at the beach for sunset. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.
Our family had a really lovely stay here. Just steps away from the beach, and a very short drive to restaurants and groceries. Checking in and out was extremely easy, and communication was excellent from management. Lots of convenient items to use/borrow like beach chairs, coolers, sand toys, and a long handled shell scoop. Nice quiet neighborhood, ice cold A/C, well appointed kitchen, and a screened in porch. Loved it and will be back!
Amy was a wonderful host. She found a lovely place for us when Manasota Key was devastated by the hurricane. She and her team were great to work with and our stay was wonderful!
The property was very clean, neat, and well equipped. Elena was very kind and helpful and easy to find. Of course the location is excellent. Exceeded our expectations.
4 day stay, perfect location, one block from the gulf... Had everything I needed. Quiet, convenient to beach, supplies within a couple of miles, groceries the same. Loved it. Would stay there again.
Great girls getaway from the hustle and bustle of work. The beach was so relaxing and everything you need is in the home. I would recommend to anybody!!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Mojito. It was located perfected to walk anywhere we wanted to go. The bungalow was well equipped and comfortably slept all four of us. It was a cute quiet neighborhood. Lots of restaurants or a nice kitchen for eating in. Thank you for the hosts for all the care in making it a comfortable and welcoming place to stay! We had a wonderful time!!
Property was adorable. Had all of the beach accessories needed for our stay. Beach and bath towels were available. There was a cute greeting tray with drinks and popcorn. Beach is close. Great places to eat near by. We would love to visit here again soon.
Great location! The Key has only one road with very light traffic. The beach is not crowded and you only have to walk across the street to get to the beach. The kids had fun in the heated pool. Good size for kids, but not for a lap swim workout. There are some restaurants close by with live music less than a half mile away. Easy access to sidewalks to walk up and down the Key. Grocery stores - Publix, Winn Dixie and Walmart are on the main drag about 3-4 miles away. This place had all the kitchen items we needed, beach stuff and kayaks!
We enjoyed our first stay on Manasota Key. The area is beautiful and quaint. The cottage was adorable and perfect for what we needed. Loved the close proximity to the ocean and the beach chairs and cooler offered for use. Easy check-in and checkout process. Appreciate the cottage being stocked, especially the coffee and toiletries.
My friend and I wanted a little break from the cold, so we decided to meet for a long weekend in Florida. The Villa Mojito was the perfect find! Adorable, extremely clean and in a great location. We had a wonderful time that wasn't long enough. I highly recommend this little gem.
Very clean, well-maintained, small but very functional 2 bedroom cottage. Quiet neighborhood. Short walk to beach. Kayaks for protected bay. Good bars/restaurants and bike rental about a 15 minute walk. Well managed.
Very happy with this experience!
I stayed at Villa Mojito with my daughter and husband. We wanted a quick getaway close to walk on the beach and enjoy restaurants. The villa had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing couple of days. It was clean and a very quiet neighborhood. We walked a couple of minutes to the beach about an hour before sunset and easily found sharks teeth on the shore. We look forward to going back.
Visited Manasota Key on past trips and have come to love the area. Found Casa Mojit and gave it a shot. Priot to booking, reached out with a question which was promplty answered and I booked.
Upon arrival, we were provided with a code to the door and were off to a great start. All the necessities were provided which helped with packaging. We did some shopping locally for some snacks, light meals, beverages and cocktails.
Lots of great restaurants nearby which if you want are within walking distance or a short drive away. One of the great things about this place is the location. If you walk out and walk about .1 miles to the right, you are at the Gulf Of Mexico. If you walk to the left a slightly shorter distance, you are at Lemon Bay. If you walk to the other side of the Property down Friendship Lane at toward Lemon Bay, there are a few Benches to watch the sunrise over Lemon Bay as you sip your coffee. If you go towards the Gulf at sunset, you can grab a beach chair along with your favorite cocktail and enjoy the sunset.
The property had all your beach essentials (chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, boogie boards, a coller.) One of the highlights was sifting through the beach sand looking for fossilized shark teeth which kept us busy part of the time.
Another thing I loved was the access to the kayaks on the property. I went on a sunrise kayak and enjoys view.
Overall a great place to stay. It did have a musty smell at first, but not horroble.
