Beachfront Cottage sur North Manasota Key, pour 4 personnes

Maison rénovée et charmante juste à la plage. Exposition spectaculaire à 180 degrés dans le golfe du Mexique. Paisible et relaxant du lever au coucher du soleil. Étapes de la belle plage de baignade en vue d'une tour de sauveteur à Manasota Beach Park encore retiré de la foule de la plage.
Dormez et réveillez-vous au son ininterrompu du surf. Marchez ou faites du jogging sur les 16 miles de la clé de sable. Laissez-vous divertir à l'infini par les oiseaux de rivage, les pélicans, les dauphins, les tortues et les tortues à votre porte. Partez à la chasse aux carapaces ou aux dents de requin, pilotez un cerf-volant, pêchez ou simplement détendez-vous et laissez-vous envoûter par l'eau émeraude. Et vous serez étonné par les magnifiques couchers de soleil et par l'excellent environnement d'observation des étoiles.
Une télévision à écran plat de 52 pouces, une télévision dans la chambre, des lecteurs Blu-ray, une connexion Wi-Fi, un barbecue Weber et une cuisine complète avec des appareils en acier inoxydable, des comptoirs en Corian et en noyer en font une cuisine élégante. La grande terrasse a une table de bistrot avec quatre chaises. Il y a beaucoup de chaises longues et de parasols.
Nous aimons appeler notre petit refuge "Tortues et orteils" et vous saurez pourquoi après la visite. Le chalet est sur le pont-levis de North Key et sur une voie privée. Il est à proximité des commerces, des terrains de golf, des restaurants et des nombreux équipements et événements que Venise et Englewood ont à offrir.

We have been to this property multiple times but this is the first since the hurricane. Things were slightly different but no less amazing! Such a warm cozy feel to this beachfront cottage. We thought the beach was close BEFORE the hurricane!…It is now literally steps from the new patio!! You can’t find a better vantage point for the stunning sunsets than the patio table at this property! The worst part of staying here is having to leave at the end of our trip. Absolutely LOVE this place and we will be back again.

Birthday Trip

Turtles and Toes is a little cottage that was perfect for my lowkey 48th birthday celebration. The location alone being 100 feet or so from the beach deserves the 10/10. It’s a small cottage but perfect for the two of us. We ran into a few issues as my partner has an unusually large Ram 2500 heavy duty truck. It is important to note, the driveway leading to the cottage is fairly narrow and the driveway at the cottage is not made for large cars or trucks. Had we known that, we could have driven my Camry and navigated that area much easier. The parking caused a small hiccup for the neighbor right in front of this property but Donna and Joe helped us work it out the best we could. T-Mobile does not have good service at all in that area and the internet at the cottage was a bit spotty, which caused the TV to not work at times. But we made the best of it with just enjoying each other and spending more time outside on the patio and at the beach. I know most people don’t like to cook while on vacation but we still do. It may be a good idea to get an exhaust fan somewhere by the stovetop as we had to open windows to prevent too much smoke in the house. All in all, I’d visit this cottage again hands down. We hope to return when the Atlanta Braves are there at the training facility as it’s only 15 minutes away. Donna was very responsive to my concerns and did what she could to make it a great trip for us.Lastly, I found LOTS of shark teeth. Until next time Turtles and Toes.

Fabulous as always!

Our first stay post-hurricanes. The owners did a nice job repairing, updating and refining the property. The paver patio was very spacious and much more usable than the deck. It was nesting season, and we were able to witness three loggerhead turtles come ashore at night -- magical!The new palm trees offered breathtaking views at sunset. The cottage was fresh and new and wonderful!

AMAZING COTTAGE and even better hosts!

This cottage is the absolute perfect getaway! It has everything you need and then some. Spotlessly clean and updated. Location could not be better, plus our last night there, a giat sea turtle climbed the dune to within 20 feet of the cottage door! Picturesque views and steps from the surf just can’t be beat! Also we just can’t heap enough praise on the owners! The communication is the best we have ever experienced from a VRBO host! If VRBO has a best host award Joe & Donna should win it!

Charming Beachfront Cottage

We have stayed at this cottage before, and it’s always been obvious how much love the owners put into the cottage, and how much effort they put into making your stay an enjoyable one. Knowing how much work they had to do to get it rehabbed after last year’s hurricanes makes you appreciate it even more. The cottage is very clean and has everything you need for your stay. You are right on the beach with a spectacular view of the sunset. Communication with the hosts is a breeze and they are quick to respond to any questions you have.

Swimming with the dolphins

We had a wonderful time at Turtles and Toes. The cottage was very comfortable. The sunsets were amazing and on many days during our stay the Gulf was as smooth as glass. We were delighted to see dolphins, several within 7 feet of the beach. When I was swimming, one day, one swam within 9 feet of me. Shark teeth are in abundance on the beach directly in front of the cottage. The beach was never very busy. We would definitely recommend this location. FYI I highly recommend Farlow’s on the water. Great food, beautiful patio, and great service.

My husband and I loved our stay at turtles and toes! We booked this place after reading other guest reviews about how private the beach is. After our own stay we can definitely confirm this! My husband and I were set up on the beach all week and had the whole beach to ourselves. We also found TONS of sharks teeth so if you enjoy shark tooth hunting definitely book turtles and toes! We also saw the dolphins, a manatee in the ocean, and Rowdy the turtle! Overall, the house was perfect for the two of us, was very clean, and had everything we needed for the week! Would definitely recommend turtles and toes!!

Beautiful Views and Amazing Beach

This place was just what we needed to relax and unwind. We had breakfast on the porch every morning and drinks in the evenings as we watched the sun go down. Moochie came to visit a couple of times. We also saw him on the beach hanging out with the fishermen. The water was warm and perfect for swimming. There was a light breeze making it just right to sit on the beach and soak in the sun. We also took advantage of the provided information and supplies and tried our hand at shark tooth hunting. We found literally hundreds of them to take back to the grandkids. Donna was friendly and kept us well informed! Check in was easy. We had an amazing time and hope to get a chance to go back soon!

Great secluded property

Just what we were looking for to get away from all the hustle. Very private house loaded directly on the beach, beautiful sunsets. This is our second time stating here which means we like a bunch. Everything we need to getaway and relax.

Cute Cottage with an Ocean View!!

If you are looking for a place to recharge and relax this is the place for you. Just spent 7 days at Turtles and Toes located on Manasota Key right on the beach. Incredible view from the deck where we spent a lot of time reading and enjoying the view of the water. Very peaceful and quiet area. Cottage has been remodeled and comes with everything to make your stay enjoyable. Stores, restaurants and shopping are near by. Donna, the owner lives near by and is willing to help if need be. We had a wonderful time and will be back!

Great oceanfront getaway

This is our third visit with a fourth planned in early 2025. This rental is very clean and has all the amenities you will need for a relaxing get away. The location is great too. The beach is just steps away from the deck and the sunsets are wonderful. There are plenty of good restaurants just a short drive away too. The owners are communicative and responsive.

Tranquil Pre-Christmas Escape

What an amazing cottage! It is exactly as described. Outside pictures depict an older small cottage but the inside has been updated and is very cozy. There are other houses and cottages around it but everything makes it feel as if you have the beach completely to yourself. There aren't any high rises or public beach accesses so it's definitely not crowded and loud. We were there the week leading up to Christmas so I'm not sure if that was a factor. Upon stepping out on the porch, you feel you are on the beach...you couldn't be any closer. The sunsets are spectacular and you don't have to leave the premises! This is advertised as sleeping 4 but be aware that is 2 queens in the 1 bedroom so I would recommend this as a couple get away or a family with 2 small children or even a solo traveler wanting some tranquil time. It was the perfect location for us!

We really enjoyed our stay at Turtles and Toes! It's a nice cottage in a prime, quiet location. The owners clearly care about the quality of your stay and it shows. The cottage itself is cozy and was perfect for the two of us. The finishes have been updated nicely. We will definitely stay there again!
