Sam's Review
We had a fabulous time at The Quarters. We had a great experience for children to experience the rural lifestyle. The Quarters is fully equipped with all your needs and all essentials. Highly recommend a farm tour with Chris on their farm to get a good feel of what rural life farming and the history of the area and the farm. My children walked away with great knowledge and a lot of respect for the land and an understanding of farming. Chris and Fran are great people and the hospitality of making us all welcomed was world class. Would definitely stay again, Chris, Fran once again a big thank you from me and my children. Absolutely gorgeous
Well, what a property. The cottage is stunning, its old country charm took me back to living on the farm. It was clean, well presented and nothing was spared. More than enough linen, blankets, towels and pillows. The gas fire was gorgeous to sit by and the subtle baa of the sheep created this beautiful relaxing sense of happiness. We stayed here for 4 nights for our wedding recently, our children with us on some nights and they were comfortable, warm and loved spending time in the lounge and garden. The whole cottage is just homely and comfortable and the external gardens, stunning. The hosts Fran and Chris were easy to reach, accomodating and helpful. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Wedding Stay
Fran and Chris have created the most idyllic, quaint and cosy cottage. We stayed the night before our wedding and it was where we all got ready on the big day. The cottage is sun-filled and bright with the most gorgeous garden and surrounds. The warmth and cosiness of the cottage made it a relaxing start to our big day. We recommend a stay at The Quarters for anyone looking for a country getaway

Holidays farm stays are the best
Amazing property fully equipped with everything you need on holiday with the family. Sunset was gorgeous! Get the fire pit going for some marshmallows. Beautiful scenery and surrounding towns too! Inside the house the fireplace in the living room was the best

Absolutely Beautiful
This is our third stay on the farm and every time we stay I feel like it’s not long enough! The property is immaculate, well thought out and homely, complete with a beautiful country garden. The hosts are warm and friendly and were attentive to our needs. Our children look forward to the farm tour every year and farmer Chris doesn’t disappoint with a RV and tractor ride. This is one of the best country/farm stays in the area and I look forward to returning next year… just next time we’ll stay much longer.

A charming stay
The cottage was very clean and cosy with breathtaking surroundings. Yet, only a short drive to the town centre. Got prompt response from Fran whenever I had any queries. My 3 yr old son (and everyobe else :) loved the sheep roaming about. We'll be coming back!

Stunning setting for a charming country cottage
Our stay was fabulous- our small children loved rambling through the hills surrounding the cottage and the fore pit where we toasted marshmallows in the evening. The cottage was comfy and the hosts left for is some cooking basics in including fresh eggs and milk. Would live to return (2 nights was not enough!)

We had an amazing stay with our two toddlers for a long weekend. Fran and Chris were amazing hosts and the highlight was definitely the property tour! The Quarters accommodation is spectacular, excellent for families and everything has been thought of. I couldn’t recommend it more highly and we’d love to stay again. Gorgeous cottage on a beautiful property.
We had a fabulous stay at The Quarters it has everything you need with loads of charm. Chris and Fran are great hosts and we were grateful they shared their farm with us for a few days. We will be back. Just beautiful despite the rain.

Family trip
Gorgeous farm with beautiful views, short drive to town and local attractions. Accommodation was just as described, clean and welcoming. Kids loved the fire pit and exploring the farm, adults enjoyed the gas fire place and local wineries. Fantastic accommodation!

Fantastic stay, experience money can't buy!
Highly recommend this farm stay. The property is beautiful and the house has been lovingly renovated. Chris and Fran are great hosts. The highlight of the trip was the farm tour with Chris. If you want to experience a farm in warm cosy comfort, then this is hard to beat. Thanks Chris and Fran, we hope we can come back!

Third stay and won’t be our last
This was our third stay at the Quarters and I’m sure it won’t be our last! Such a perfectly comfortable little cottage in a great location. It has everything you need for a nice farm stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It was our first time bringing our 14 month old and she loved it as well. The animals were an absolute hit. Thanks France!

Sitting next to fire pit in cold weather, on a farm, drinking hot tea and just relaxing for a few days... Helps you reset and replenish energy before returning to work. Enjoyed our second stay at the Quarters. Will go again.

The Perfect Country Cottage

A home away from home
This is a great spot. Minutes away from Orange yet a really country feel. The farm tour is great for the kids. They are still talking about the tractor ride. Fran goes the extra mile with her personal touches to make you feel so welcome …. just like home.

Great stay

Loved it!
Our family loved our stay at the Quarters. The cottage was comfortable, clean and homely. It was styled perfectly and contained everything we needed. We appreciated the delicious bread, eggs and hot chocolate waiting for us on arrival as well as some small vases of flowers from the garden. The kids loved roaming the sheep covered hills surrounding the cottage. The location was great with it being removed far enough from main roads but close enough that trips to surrounding areas were easy. A highlight of our stay was a 2 hour tour of the property by Chris. We all loved learning about different aspects of the farm.

Excellent accommodation and facilities.
We all loved the accommodation and locality ie close to central Orange, surrounding vineyards and heritage towns. Next time will stay for more than just two nights. Noticed a river flowing near by but was not able to determine if it flowed through the property. If it does, would be enticing to try some fishing there or nearby.

Quiet, clean and actually convenient
Very quiet place and it is not far from the town centre which makes it also convenient. I wish there was a map though so we could take a walk in the farm.

Our Bondonga Stay
This beautiful cottage exceeded all of our expectations. We found it easily thanks to Fran’s directions and once we got there we did not want to leave! The cottage is set among the most beautiful landscape and it truly feels like you are far away from any hustle and bustle. The whole experience was magnificent but the farm tour was the highlight of our stay - it felt like such a privilege to be able to see farm life from such a personal perspective. We are truly grateful to Fran and Chris for providing us with such a memorable stay and we will definitely be back!

Perfect location for a country escape or for wedding guests getting married at the hayshed
Perfect location for wedding guests to get ready for a wedding being held at the Hayshed which is a 2min drive from the house. The house was very clean and Fran was very accommodating, kind and friendly. We would highly recommend family & friends to stay at this location and cannot wait to stay again soon.

Magical place
We have had the most incredible time here. Our boys (as well as us) have loved exploring the farm, the creek and the volcanic rocks. Fran and Chris are fantastic hosts, they really made our stay special and couldn’t do enough for us. We’ll be back next year!

Cosy Quarters
Our two families had a peaceful and relaxing time staying at the Quarters. Extremely comfy and cosy beds, effective heating and great facilities. So much to see and do in the local area but a highlight was definitely the ATV farm tour with Chris.

Very Thoughtfully managed property
This property is very thoughtfully managed, has a sheep shed next to it. We loved the bonfire in the night as well. The property is not too far from orange and Mt. Canobolas. Overall a great place to stay for holidays, highly recommended.

Amazing stay!
We had such an amazing experience at The Quarters. Fran was a brilliant host and the accommodation and surrounds were just divine. Absolutely perfect in every way! As my 6 year old said on our departure, “I don’t want to LEAVE here, I want to LIVE here!”
