J'ignorais que prix secret signifiait chambre près de l'entrée des livraisons, passage des poubelles à 7h, vue sur une ruelle et vis à vis à 3m. De plus, il s'agissait en fait d'un Intercontinental avec un service très en dessous de cette chaîne. Petit déjeuner insipide à éviter. Serviettes mouillées et roulées pour le lendemain. 1 peignoire pour deux. Wi-Fi quasi inexistant.

Bien surtout pour la situation
Excellente situation dans New Town. Au niveau service, peu mieux faire, room service et restaurant peu organisés. Accueil agréable, sans plus. Dans la chambre, idée de la « tuck box » très bonne. Grand lit confortable. Un peu cher niveau qualité/prix.

Emplacement hôtel idéalement situé, cadre hôtel tout de la modernité avec une conservation historique des lieux un très beau mariage mélange des deux, personnel aux petits soins souriants quelque soit l’heure. Franchement tout se fait à pied et dans une ville magnifique. Très bon beau séjour, ps ne pas louper la soirée du 31/12...

bon hotel très bien situé; en revanche un ascenseur sur deux ne fonctionnait pas de même que le chauffage de la chambre. Un chauffage d'appoint nous a été fourni. Cela un vrai problème étant donné le standing de l'hotel et le prix des chambres!!

We love the location of this hotel, the breakfast was outstanding, and we were allowed to check in early. The only negative I can possibly think of is that the bathroom didn't have enough counter space. Other than that this stay was perfect!

Wonderful location and welcoming staff. We had a comfortable stay and the room was always stocked with plenty of complementary snacks and water. The room was small but that was to be expected. The bathroom was tiny and the shower design was a bit lacking as the floor was easily flooded by the shower if not extremely careful. Overall a lovely stay for our family of four.

Special hotel.
Wonderful hotel. Panoramic view of the Firth of Forth from our room stunning. The only irritation was music in the breakfast room. Staff bent over backwards to consider us but it didn’t stop the music.

Flott hotell som ligger nær både attraksjoner og shopping. Rommene var gode og personalet var serviceinnstilte og hjelpsomme. Det er også lett å komme seg til hotellet fra flyplassen med trikken.

5 Sterne Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal und sehr unkompliziert. Das Hotel liegt perfekt zur Princess Street und in der Nahzone zur Royal Mile. Ausserdem sind rund um das Hotel viele Lokale mit leckerem Essen angesiedelt. Früstück im Hotel sehr gut!

Intercontinental The George 3 night stay
We visit Edinburgh once a year & have stayed in various locations. We booked the Intercontinental based on the location as we were planning to be in New Town more for this visit. We were checked in quickly with all relevant information passed on & found our room to be lovely. We had already planned our visit so other than breakfast we did not eat at the hotel, however breakfast was exceptional. Amar in the restaurant made sure each day that all was well & was very attentive. The food for breakfast was well cooked & hot - we both mentioned it was the best hotel breakfast we had eaten. Having stayed in many hotels we will most definitely return to the intercontinental & would highly recommend it to all as it had everything spot on - Thankyou. We were actually there for my husbands birthday & we were treated to an upgrade to the club room one morning for breakfast. I don’t believe you were aware of that, but it made the break even more memorable - Thankyou
