« We arrived at our lodge to find that the toilet didn’t flush and hot tub was too cold to use. We were offered another lodge which was the only vacant one with a hot tub. Again the toilet flushing mechanism wasn’t working and needed repair. Then the smoke alarm decided to malfunction, going off at random times. We inspected the smoke alarm only to discover the unit was out of date by 3 years and should have been replaced as we were staying in a newly refurbished unit. Maintenance at these...

« Quiet location. Our lodge was very nice. The rest of the lodges on site looked good. A mini shop is available with just enough essentials. You definitely need a car to get around as you are pretty isolated. There is a pub 4 mile away. Plenty of walks to explore. This break for us was lovely, peaceful with only the sound of the sheep in the distance bleating. The tranquility suited us perfectly. Will definitely go back. »
