Welcome to the Lakefront Bungalow~35 miles from Mt. Rainier National Park's year-round entrance! Perfect for solo remote workers, couples, or Really close friends;-) The Bungalow also shares the property with the Lakefront Cottage! Perfect for pairing families who want to stay in both places!

You are on vacation and it is very important to us that you enjoy yourself! Please let us know if there is anything you need, we live close by and we will accommodate you to the absolute best of our ability:) If you are looking for suggestions on the local area we are more than willing to be there for you! We also understand that every guest has a different preference on how much interaction they have with the host. We try to be aware of each person's individual wants and needs and completely respect your privacy.

Lake Tanwax is a motorized lake. During the summer it is usually active, but not crowded. Most days it will be occupied by a few fisherman during the morning hours and by a few boaters in the heat of the day.

The Bungalow is located in a rural area and you will need to access by car. If you are looking for restaurants, or small town city life, the little town of Eatonville is 15 minutes south on Hwy 161. The town of Graham is 15 minutes north on Hwy 161, which is where you will find grocery stores (Safeway) and other amenities. Puyallup is only 20 minutes away from the house, which is where you will find many restaurants, movie theaters, and any other entertainment type things that you would expect from a local city.

The Bungalow offers all of the cozy comforts of home with the added bonus of creating a wonderful escape from daily life with lakeside views and access located just outside your door! Enjoy a day of hiking in the summer and snowshoeing in the winter and soak in the serenity of lakefront living! The Bungalow provides the ideal getaway for our solo guests traveling and working remotely and it is also the Perfect size for our couples (or Really close friends or family who don't mind sharing the queen bed;-) looking for a getaway! The Bungalow also shares the property with the Lakefront Cottage! Perfect for pairing families who want to stay in both places and enjoy lake time together!

The Lakefront Bungalow offers all of the cozy comforts of home with the added bonus of creating a wonderful escape from daily life and a lake just outside your door! The kitchen has a full size dishwasher, stove and refrigerator set up for your comfort and it also comes equipped with all of the basic needs for meal preparations . No need to hand wash dishes here! Put the dishes in the dishwasher and get back outside to enjoy the view! Head up to Mt. Rainier for a day of exploration and adventure, jump in the lake (the water temperatures can be excellent in the summertime!!) or spend your days fishing, relaxing! and curled up with a good book!!

Please note that this is a Shared Property. The house, deck, and small dock directly in front of the Bungalow are Private and for your exclusive use only. There is a Waterfront Cottage located ~ 50 feet from the bungalow. The cottage is not included in your rental and we ask that if someone happens to be occupying the cottage during your stay that you do not block their vehicle. Please respect their privacy (and we absolutely ask the same of them). This allows for a quite experience for guests separate from one another, or works great pairing families who want to stay in both places and enjoy lake time together! There is a fire pit located near the water that is a shared area, accessible for either home:-) Enjoy! For guest convenience, we are also happy to provide shared access to laundry facilities as needed. The washer and dryer are located in a separate small building adjacent to both the cottage and the bungalow.

Regarding pets: We know how important it is to travel with your fur family. We are happy to accommodate, and simply ask that you check for pre-approval and count them as an "extra guest" at a fee of $25 per pet.


The Bungalow is located in a rural area and a vehicle will be necessary to access any local amenities. There is parking space conveniently located directly behind the Bungalow.

The cabin shares a parking area with our other listing, "Unique Waterfront Cottage". The homes are about 50 feet from one another. This still allows for a quite experience for guests separate from one another, or works great if families want to combine. There is a fire pit near the water that is a shared area, accessible for either home. Water access is limited due to vegetation in front of the Bungalow (please see the picture of the dock for visual of the lily pads that are present during Spring and Summer)

**Liability Waiver:
Campfires, swimming, and the use of any watercrafts are at your own risk. There is no lifeguard on duty and you accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising during you stay at The Lakefront Bungalow and hold the Property Owner, Host, and Lakeview Getaways, LLC harmless. You understand there are potential dangers that campfires, swimming and watercrafts may present to children who are not carefully supervised, as well as the danger to any person swimming or using watercrafts if a person has health risks, or while intoxicated or using any kind of drugs or medication, or while pregnant. You agree to be fully and solely responsible for all accidents or injury that may occur inside or outside the home. You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and for those in your party. You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against owners, the host, and Lakeview Getaways, LLC for accidents or claims regarding any and all incidents that may occur on the property. All Guests in your party acknowledge and agree that they have read and understand this waiver and they acknowledge that confirmation by booking this home constitutes a binding and enforceable contract between all Guests, the Host, Lakeview Getaways, LLC and the Property Owners.
