« My husband and I spent the weekend here, and it was absolutely wonderful. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and such a refreshing escape from the city. We enjoyed watching the birds, but the highlight for me was seeing the baby deer roaming around. It was magical. At night, the stars were breathtaking, and the quiet made it even more special. « The Sanctuary is a magical place carved into nature where for a short time the weary traveler can rest their body and their soul. The deer, beavers, swans and cranes were excellent hosts. The cabin is spacious, comfortable and well furnished. The human hosts are also gracious and welcoming. I've stayed there twice and hope to return again. »

« Our family of 7 (5 adults, a 4-year-old and 10-month-old) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. The beach and the lake were amazing, as were the various areas on the property to enjoy. The grassy backyard was great for our 4-year-old grandson to run and play on, and he enjoyed the air hockey table in the garage. The firepit area was great for our bonfire night with s’mores, and the platform between the cottage and lake with blue chairs on it was perfect for stargazing on a few...

« Just a great place to stay , had family in from east coast that just loved the couple days we had there ,,,owners are a class act . And compliments to the local kayak rental business rollway resort they delivered boats for the kids with in a couple hours of calling them very friendly locals that make you want to return again . Job well done . »

« Had a wonderful, snowy weekend away on Lake Huron. I hadn’t realized that the four bedrooms were located in two cottages side by side but it worked out just fine. Both cottages were clean, cozy, warm and welcoming with beautiful views of the water. Would definitely come back again. Maybe we’ll try it in the summer next time! »
