« Check in was very easy and straightforward. Communication with the host was excellent. The cottage was clean and welcoming. Beds and linens were very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. A few small discrepancies with the advertised amenities ( lack of coffee machine and shortage of kitchen crockery ) were addressed in a kind and caring manner. Located just a couple of miles from North Berwick and surrounded by pretty farmland. »

« Lovely cottage but let down by lack of attention to detail. It was cold when we arrived. We couldn’t get through to the agency that evening but the next day it was sorted. Basic items such as sufficient dishwater tablets, cling film, tin foil, bin liners, not supplied. There was no fish slice, so having fried some eggs I had difficult getting them out of the pan in one piece. Most annoyingly, the large tv had only terrestrial channels - unacceptable for a quality property these days. There was...
