Particularly liked the L'Occitane toiletries in the stylish bathrooms. Also when we had supper, there is no price on the menu except for drinks. That was a bit disturbing.

The young lady at the reception desk was full of smiles and let us borrow a uk plug for our chargers! We only brought America plugs! Also, Sara Jean in the restaurant was absolutely wonderful! She made me feel very welcome and gave us some good advice for what to do in York! It was such a great experience! I recommend if you’re looking for a quiet spot out in the country! »

« Very lovely place ! Looks like entering a mansion with a beautiful gated front lawn. The room I was in was in the basement and could have been better ventilated. It had all the amenities needed for a traveller and it was very clean. There were no elevators so it might be a problem for some people. The staff were very nice and responsive and made their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. »

The room is very quiet, there is a nice old library and rhe garden is simply magnificent.
All in all, it was a very good stay and a beautiful scenery. But I think a bit overpriced for what we got. "
