« Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt, das Haus braucht aber dringend eine Renovierung. Mehrere Türklinken sind abgefallen oder waren lose, die Matratzen schon sehr durchgelegen. In der Küche war zu wenig Inventar für 8 Leute, aber hier wurde auf Nachfrage sehr schnell nachgebessert. Am meisten enttäuscht hat uns der Außenbereich. Sowohl die Terrassen vor und hinter dem Haus sind stark veraltet und marode und laden nicht zu einem längeren Aufenthalt ein. Zudem ist der Garten vor dem Haus total verwuchert...

« The place was not clean as much expected. All the spices, salt and oil were date expired. Basement’s rooms were full of bugs on the floor and in the room. Couldn’t sleep well because of those. Overall not recommended. Bad experience. »

« This is a very comfortable, quiet, super clean apartment. It is also very new as evidenced by packing material still noticeable on some appliances and chairs! Jennifer, the host, was very quick to respond to questions or anything we needed. The location is excellent for popping into Halifax and the neighbourhood itself seemed quiet and walkable with parks - although we were so busy in Halifax we didn’t get a chance to explore it. « I really enjoyed my stay at the Dome. It's comfortable, cozy and the perfect location for exploring Peggy's Cove. Fav things: the indoor and outdoor fire, sauna, and bird feeders. Constant views of blue jays, juncos, doves and chipmunks feeding and fleeting in the woods. The bed is really comfy, too, and there are plenty of appliances and kitchen tools to cook your own meals if you plan for what is available. »
