« Owner did not communicate with me until a message on VRBO at 5:30PM telling me that the apartment was not available. I began reaching out to her using messaging and voice mail at 4 PM to get information on getting into the building and apartment. I did receive a full refund the next day but I can not understand why the owner did not cancel the reservation as soon as they knew that the apartment wasn't available. »

« Parking was so easy, right outside garden gate door. Area felt safe, and walking east, west, and south through the historic district was very pleasant. Apt was lovely, spotless and well furnished. « A strong smell of smoke pervades the building, and is still strong in the unit itself. The smell stuck to my clothes after I left. The dryer was not functional so it wasn't possible to do laundry in the unit. Additionally, the hot water in the shower lasted for only a few minutes. The smell, no usable laundry and not being able to take a comfortable shower made for an uncomfortable stay.
