« Fabulous property - luxurious and well appointed, great hosts who were friendly and welcoming. The house is ideally situated in Wigtown so right by some lovely pubs, bookshops and nice areas for walking. We were a group of 6 adults and 4 young children (and a dog) and it perfectly suited our needs - plenty of space and ideal for a group get together. We can’t wait to return! »

« The property was generally very good and very convenient for the railway station which we used a lot for travelling to Commonwealth Games venues. I would suggest updating the listing. There was no dishwasher or coffee maker and parking was on street due to the building work next door. Saying that we enjoyed our stay and would consider using again if we’re back in sunny Glasgow. »

« Great location as a base around Loch Lomond and a fabulous spot to stop before heading into the highlands. Nicely tucked away and surrounded by trees and wildlife. Great inside space that the pictures don't do justice. »

« We had a lovely stay here, the house was stunning as was the location. The host went above beyond to make our stay memorable. There were a few glitches while we were there (just bad luck) but Gavin was excellent, responding quickly and he generously refunded us a night of our stay. Other reviews mention the water, this really isn't an issue its a private water supply which is common in Scotland.. boil it or bring your own! »

« The place is super quaint and clean. Hosts very responsive and helpful. Not a lot in town to eat, the one pub was not recommended, so be sure to plan meals accordingly. Easy drive to train station. Parking was limited and a bit far away. »
