hotel tres bien situé
en plein centre ville, a 5 minutes du depart du train, centre ville tres agreable, chambre en etage avec balcon. piscine et jacuzzi petite dejeuner tres simple

An amazing place to stay when you are riding the Durango to Silverton Train, less than a two minute walk away. Also very short walk to the town Center. Rooms were clean, with fridge. I haven’t figures out how pop tarts are the central part of the continental breakfast? Coffee was good and almost next door is the bagel shop.

Breakfast was less than adequate. Had to ask for pastry. On 2nd day no yogurt. Card to open doors repeatedly did not work.

Very nice older hotel., but nicely maintained. Reasonable price for a high dollar location. I would stay again and recommend to friends. Staff wasbvery accommodating for late arrival.

Very cute lodge with free breakfast. Loved everything about our stay. They even had shampoo, conditioner, etc. Very friendly service as well.

Great place in a good location
A few friends of mine stayed in the triple room and I can’t complain about anything. The room was great, beds were comfortable, great location, and the hot tub is the best part.

We really enjoyed staying at the Durango Lodge. It was in a very convenient walk-able location to everything. The front desk people were very nice. We opted to not have our room cleaned while we were there due to the dog. We will be back

Rooms are updated & clean
The rooms here are up-to-date and very clean. The receptionist upon my arrival was quite pleasant. This hotel is at a great location. This is my go-to if they have rooms available when I'm visiting.

Very nice with one caveat.
Hotel is older but they have done a nice job in renovating it to be more “up to date”. The staff was pleasant and I had great conversations with all who I interacted with. The only negative is that they need to update their Wi-Fi capability to todays standard.

Very clean. No frills. No view. VERY comfy bed! New carpet in my room. Extremely quiet. Super close to the train station and still quiet.

Great Location
Great location, if you don’t mind the train at 8am, which we liked. The bed was really comfortable. Tiny shower and not as clean in the bathroom as we would like. Nice to have coffee in the room and black out shades. Felt like a motel.

Location is excellent.. steps from the train and close to downtown. The room was clean and comfortable. On the downside, the young man checking us in was sullen and though he said there would be be breakfast sandwiches avail, there was not. “Breakfast” Was seriously lacking. The jacuzzi was broken. And though we requested one time maid service, they ignored the request. I would recommend staying here but don’t expect much.
