Discover Cliffside Casa (Silverpick #109), your ideal mountain retreat, fully remodeled in 2020 and furnished with all-new décor in 2022. This peaceful escape offers an open-concept living space that blends comfort, convenience, and stunning mountain views.

The spacious main level features a fully equipped kitchen (complete with crockpot, blender, and coffee bar), a cozy wood-burning fireplace, and a large private deck perfect for soaking up the views or grilling under the Colorado sky. Nestled beneath the trees, a separate seating area offers a quiet spot to relax outdoors.

Stay entertained with Smart TVs for streaming, high-speed WiFi, and even a PlayStation 3 with games. A dedicated office workspace complete with monitor, printer, keyboard, and mouse makes it easy to stay connected if work calls during your stay. The unit also includes a washer/dryer for added convenience.

To keep you comfortable year-round, the home features three portable vented AC units (one in each bedroom and one in the living area), allowing you to enjoy cool mountain air without sacrificing those breathtaking views.

Located just off Highway 550 with easy paved access. Two parking spaces are included, and guests are welcome to use the two cruiser bikes stored in the garage perfect for exploring the surrounding area.

Whether you’re here to ski, hike, bike, or simply relax, Cliffside Casa offers a perfect blend of modern amenities and mountain charm.

AMENITIES: The property has a shared hot tub, playground, and hiking. You can also walk or bike the 0.3-mile dirt road from the condo to the Nugget Mountain Bar - they have a food truck and indoor/outdoor seating with firepits. In the summer, they also feature live music! In the summer, a bike ride to the ski resort would be easy, too.

LOCATION: Silverpick sits at appx 8800 feet in elevation. It borders the National Forest and is about halfway between the historic towns of Durango and Silverton. This prime location is just 1 mile from Purgatory Ski Resort's entrance and approximately 25 minutes from downtown Durango, with scenic drives up to Silverton and Ouray. Enjoy both quiet privacy and the incomparable Needles Mountain views from this townhome, while being close enough to the action of Purgatory Resort where you can enjoy a variety of restaurants, winter and summer activities, and festivals/events.

PETS: This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs max and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max $250 per stay). Pets must be crated if they are left home alone.

NOTE: There is a Ring spotlight camera over the front door - lights will turn on with motion.

Our family of 6 was comfortable in the condo for our ski trip. Location was great as it was probably 1 mile to the slopes. Check in and out was super simple and straight forward. We appreciated some kitchen basics were supplied like salt, pepper and cooking oil. It’s just nice not to have to purchase every little thing on vacation. It was convenient that the condo has 2.5 baths and also that a starter kit of soap, shampoo etc was supplied and plenty of TP. Nothing worse than showing up to a rental that only gives you a couple rolls for several days! We loved all the movies saved in youtubeTV
 it made finding something to watch very easy! The only reason I knocked off a star was because the condo was 53 degrees inside when we arrived and it took quite a while to warm up to a comfortable temperature since a snow storm was blowing in, and there was pet hair on/in one of the beds. I know dogs are allowed (and we have a big dog at home), but I wouldn’t expect it to be in the bed. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

My family of 4 adults and small dog stayed in this VRBO. It was in a great location to the Purgatory Ski Resort and less than 30 mins to Durango. It was a great size for all of us to hangout and relax after busy day skiing and snowmobiling tour. The communication with host was great and quick to respond. The home was clean and well stocked for all our needs. Definitely recommend staying here for convenience to Purgatory Resort.

The condo was comfortable and perfect for our ski vacation. We really enjoyed the wood stove and appreciated the ample supply of wood. The kitchen is also very well equipped. The wifi was great with no drop outs and strong signal throughout the home. The streaming options on the tv were also great. There were only two things we noted that could be improved. One is that we found some items such as utensils, coffee pot, dog bowls, etc. weren’t completely clean. This is likely due to the dishwasher not doing a great job. The other issue was that snow removal around the property isn’t great and we had to do more shoveling than is typical in our experience at ski condos. These are relatively minor inconveniences however and didn’t detract from our enjoyment of the stay.

The house was very comfortable and super clean. The kitchen was well stocked including basic spices, storage containers, cleaning supplies and everything you would need to make meals, plus a nice dishwasher. I enjoyed using the large copper kitchen sink. The beds were comfortable with nice sheets and pillows. The three bathrooms were spacious and well stocked including nice towels. We did not use the fireplace or the hot tub but both appeared to be very nice. This is a great location between Durango and Silverton. There are some small lakes nearby as well as a convenience store and gas station. The large TV’s were a nice touch as well as the coffee station. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

This is a very nicely appointed condo. It is really well decorated, very comfortable and has lots of nice touches (and everything we needed). I loved the king sized bunk beds and the kitchen is fabulous! I'm a very light sleeper and the heaters make a bit of noise so we had to turn the thermostats down at night -- otherwise this was a perfect stay.
