Everything fine....
We spend a very nice time in the Casa del Poeta. Everything was conform to our expectation. The house is beautiful and comfortable, the location is quite in a nice area. Ria and Vicenzo, the house keepers, are very nice and taking care of everything, thanks to them. A very nice place to spend his holidays and we can warmly recommanded it

Erholsamer Urlaub in Top-Villa
Wir verbrachten als Familie mit Freunden und Hund eine sehr erholsame und entspannte Woche in der "Casa de la Poeta". Das Haus ist topmodern und bestens ausgestattet, ebenso die Außenanlagen und das Pool. Mehrere Sitzbereiche laden zum Verweilen ein und ermöglichen auch jedem ein privates Rückzugsgebiet. Etwas mühsam ist nur die Anreise über eine abenteuerliche Schotterstraße - die tägliche Fahrt in den Ort überlegt man sich eher..... Alles in allem ein Urlaubsdomizil das uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen ist.

Wonderful place to host friends and family
We spent 2 weeks at the villa and loved every minute of it. The accommodations were perfect for multiple friends and family to enjoy with their own space, and the pool made the warmer days just a memory. Dolceacqua and surrounding villages were magical and friendly. Just enough to explore before heading back to the villa to enjoy an al fresco dinner while enjoying the amazing views. Access to the the coastal towns was an easy drive and we enjoyed several days on the beautiful Ligurian Sea. Many thanks to our hosts Ria and Vincenzo for an easy visit and accommodating every need.

Amazing house in gorgeous place
Our stay in this house could not have been better in any way. The house itself is fantastic, having all the appointments one needs to live very well. The pool is beautiful and well-maintained with a gorgeous waterfall and plenty of deck chairs, and towels. We could not get enough of the view, being able to look in one direction, and see the Ligurian Sea, and in the other, the Maritime Alps. The check in process and check out process were both seamless, and Ria and Vincenzo were the perfect hosts. In short, this stay exceeded all our expectations, and we have every hope of returning!

Calm villa with wonderful view
We (two families with 4 adults and 6 children) enjoyed a great week at the villa. Highlights were: the pool had different sections and was very clean, the villa had a big kitchen, several bathrooms and we liked the way the house was decorated. The view was stunning. Ria was always available and a perfect host. Thank you very much.

Dream house
We had an amazing stay in this wonderfull and perfect equipped house. Everything you need, you will find in the house. The communication with Ria was excellent. She and Vincenco are very relaxed and funny - many thanks to you both!

Outstanding views
About 10 minutes from Dolceaqua and high in the hills above it, this home had everything my family (all adults) was looking for - beautiful finishes and decor, outstanding views and plenty of different areas to lounge, eat, and just enjoy the surroundings. The bedrooms were comfortable, the pool was clean and inviting and the caretakers, Ria and her husband, made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed hiking the hills above the villa, touring Dolceaqua, and especially the very amazing espresso machine. We appreciated being met at the IP gas station in Camporesso and being led up the hills the first time, but had no trouble with the drive after that. We loved the absolute privacy at the villa.

Komfortabel und geschmackvoll
Die Anlage im Freien ist großzügig, das Haus geräumig und auffallend geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Eine Gruppe bis zu sechs Personen kann hier komfortabel wohnen und einen Urlaub mit toller Aussicht und in reizvoller Umgebung genießen.

Thank you for your nice review! In the small house there's also space for another couple ( or small family) and in the lounge room in the villa is also a sleeping couch of 160 by 2 m. Judith Hees

Fijn familiehuis
Samen met onze kinderen en aanhang een week in het huis gelogeerd. Heel gastvrij ontvangen. Elke kamer heeft zijn eigen badkamer zodat iedereen zijn privacy heeft. Het huis is compleet. Echt alles is aanwezig. Mooie ligging. Genoeg te doen in de omgeving, maar ook fijn om de hele dag bij het huis te blijven.

Dank voor de positieve recensie, we herkennen dat gevoel dat het heerlijk kan zijn gewoon maar rond het huis te 'hangen': lezen, zwemmen, van het uitzicht genieten..

Herzlichen Dank an euch beide, das war mit Abstand unser bestes Ferienhaus - ever!!! Für Hundebesitzer perfekt, ihr könnt euren Hund den ganzen Tag über frei laufen lassen, das gesamte Areal ist eingezäunt, das war für uns sehr entspannend. Das Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen, auch die Küche ist hervorragend ausgestattet. Endlich auch mal ein Swimming Pool, der seinem Namen gerecht wird. Für manche wird vielleicht die Anfahrt (ca. 1 Kilometer von Dolceacqua) gewöhnungsbedürftig. Serpentinen und teilweise schlechte Straßen, aber das gibt sich :-) Ein herzliches Dankeschön an Ria und Vincenzo, ihr seid super!!!

A beautiful and private location
The house is fantastic, better then the pictures, everything you needed for the stay is avaliable. The house is very private and remote so you need to take the car for shopping grocery and visit restaurants. We wasn’t prepared for the narrow and steep road up. Over all we are so pleased with our stay, four adults and five children (5-9 yo). The host Ria is very heplful and kind. We really recomended this house.

Ruhe und Erholung pur
Wir (7 Erwachsene, 1 Kind im Alter von 9 Jahren, 3 Hunde), sind im August 2020 nach Dolceaqua gereist. Vom ersten Moment an waren wir von der traumhaften abgeschiedenen Lage der Villa beeindruckt. Ria und Vincenzo holten uns am Treffpunkt ab und zeigten uns den abenteuerlichen Weg durch die Olivenhaine bis zum Haus. Dort war prinzipiell alles, wie beschrieben. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist top. Leider funktionierten nicht alle Geräte einwandfrei, was uns aber nicht weiter störte. Das alte Steinhaus ist gut klimatisiert, sofern man tagsüber die Rollos zu macht. Eine fest eingebaute Klimaanlage gibt es nicht, dafür aber Ventilatoren und zwei Klimageräte. Das Haupthaus war wunderbar sauber, beim Gästehaus hatte man leider den Eindruck, dass es längere Zeit nicht in Benutzung war, da es ein wenig eingestaubt wirkte. Alles in allem haben wir die Tage sehr genossen und können das Haus und auch die Gegend um Dolceaqua nur weiter empfehlen.

Dolceacqua Hill-side Heaven
This tranquil hillside property is fantastic to relax and wollow in the beauty of the Italian countryside. The track to the house is challenging but once you have navigated the widing road the beauty and quality of the property just astounds on many levels. The location is ideally placed for trips to Nice, Monaco, Menton & San Remo which are all within an hour drive from the property. I would definitely recomend the property to anyone looking for a fantastic Italian retreat.

Fantastic house in fantastic surroundings.
We can highly recommend this house!! Family of 4 adults stayed 12 days in this luxury house where all needs were covered. You do not need to bring anything along - the house is fully equipped. Beautifully, nice and quiet surroundings. We were warmly welcomed by Ria and Enzo who gladly shared information about where to eat and go. Good value for money!!!!

Toller Aufenthalt!
Wir waren sechs Erwachsene und drei Kinder -und alle im Haupthaus. Schöne Küche mit Ess- und Wohnraum, Bäder ganz schön, Terrasse wunderbar, Pool schön, rundherum Olivenbäume, herrliche Aussicht, in der Nacht angenehm kühl, herrlicher Sandstrand für Kinder in San Remo, La Stampa ein wunderbares Lokal für Kinder. Die Anreise ist gewöhnungsbedürftig, weil steil, aber kein wirkliches Problem für halbwegs geübte Autofahrer Einkaufszentren sind in der Nähe. Betreuung vor Ort ist perfekt. Wir hatten eine richtig tolle Woche. Diese hätte nicht besser sein können.

Prachtig huis in een zeer mooie omgeving!
Zeer mooie en recente woning met alles erop en eraan ,tot in de puntjes afgewerkt,stijlvol,zeer proper,en zo kunnen we nog eventjes doorgaan! Uitzicht vanuit de kamers en zwembad op de bergen is prachtig,zeer rustig. Communicatie met de eigenaars en met de housekeeper is voortreffelijk!

Great property and property manager (Ria) was excellent. Lovely views of the valley. Had fun with a large SUV getting up the road... it made me a better driver. Thoroughly recommended for large family group.

Sehr schön eingerichtet, super Aussicht auf die Berge und Hügel, perfekt ausgestattet
Sehr schönes Haus mit offenem Grundriss, perfekte Küche, super ausgestattet und alles da, was man für braucht. Schlafzimmer mit eigenen Badezimmern schön und funktional eingerichtet. Betten gut. Außenbereich ist herrlich mit vielen Terrassen, Liegen und unterschiedlichen Sitzmöglichkeiten in verschiedene Himmelsrichtungen. So hat man Schatten oder Sonne oder Abseits vom Wind. Ideal ist das Haus für 6 bis 8 Personen. Wir waren 10 und nutzten auch einen getrennten Wohnbereich mit bequemer Schlafcouch. Das Nebenhaus „Casa Mondrian“ ist nur für den Hochsommer und nur für zwei zu empfehlen, da es keine Heizung -jedoch einen kleinen offenen Kamin - hat. Die Fahrt zum Haus dauert auf sehr schmalen und steilen Wegen ca. 10 bis 15 Minuten. Dies ist recht abenteuerlich und gewöhnungsbedürftig. Ein guter Platz für Erholung mit Familie oder Freunden.

Idyllic luxurious gem
A little piece of paradise in Italy, located near France and Monaco. We experienced the perfect mix of relaxing at the villa (pool, fireplace at night, barbecue, amazing view) and exploring the surroundings (including France and Monaco). Comes highly recommended!

Gorgeous Dream Getaway
We celebrated my 60th birthday with a group of friends at this lovely house with breathtaking views and all the comforts of home. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all excellent! We spent the days in Dolceacqua or France and Liguria at the sea, sampling the local wines, lunching in small villages and back to the house in time to enjoy the sun, the pool and the property. We cooked dinner in the well equipped kitchen every evening and ate outside under the stars. Ria and Vincenzo, the homes caretakers, were wonderful and full of information about the house and the area. One evening, we were very lucky to have been able to hire Vincenzo to be our chef for a celebratory dinner. Course after course of amazing home made Italian recipes continued though the evening. Ria, alongside Vincenzo, made this night AMAZING for us and our guests. In just one night, they already felt like family :) For anyone who is looking to get away from all the hustle and bustle and overrun tourist areas, then this is the place for you! A slice of paradise on the hilltop. We hope to return in the near future to create more wonderful memories and to enjoy the house, the area and peace............... Sue & Peter - New York City

Pleasantly disconnected, yet highly connected stay above Italian middle-age romantic village
Closely connected to the vibrant French Riviera, yet romantically, comfortably and privately tucked away in the Italian hills overlooking the picturesque and warm hearted Dolceaqua village, dating from in the middle-ages. The place itself is a true retreat. The different terraces overlooking the hills, ocean in the distance and endless green, welcoming for a splash in the pool, games on the grass, breakfasts with a view, dining late or reading in one of the many cosy spots. A private and comfortable stay with everything one can desire during a break. This place is made for endless summer dinners and relaxation, to retreating, reading and cooking (in the lavish kitchen). Enough to do while at the villa, but even more in its surroundings. Whether it's nature, old culture or the action of the French Riviera you are seeking. It's all within direct reach. Love this place.
