I like it was enclosed from the outside. I didn’t like the smell of the room, it smelled musty/moldy. And the furniture was outdated. I know it was to help with the “theme”, but it really hurt the theme in my opinion.

The rooms are out dated and run down. They are nothing like the photos on the Expedia site. There is an animal fee of even if they are service animal. They don't charge if you have documents declaring their service. The restaurant may be open and it may not, just depends on their attitude. I would not recommend this hotel.

This hotel was nice enough but it has definitely seen better days. We were a bit disappointed the restaurant was closed as it would have been nice to just eat on the property and it was difficult to find a good place close by to have a good steak. The rooms were okay but definitely needs some updating on flooring/carpets, bathrooms and general upgrades to be more modern. The toilet had the wrong sized cover on the tank, the bathroom fan was loud and not working properly. Large gaps between the floor and the bottom edge of the door. The up-sides were - room was quiet, hot tub was clean and water hot, there is a washer/dryer in the atrium. The place just seemed sad and lonely and missing the days when it was a happening and busy place.

Had a really nice stay at this place. We booked through Expedia and found out that Expedia does not keep up with what rooms are available at hotels and will book you anyway. We booked a king and had to stay in a different room but we were offered to change once one came available. The first room we were given had a burnt out main light but we were quickly given a different room. We spoke to the owner, I believe, and he was very helpful and professional. You could tell he cared about the hotel and the occupants. He seemed like the type of person to go out of their way to accommodate your stay. This place has really cool decorations and great for kids. It has a pool, race car games, rooms built like old time saloons, a volleyball court, and a basketball court. The only thing that wasn’t great about this place is that it did not offer free breakfast like most hotels do. There is a restaurant inside the hotel which is very nice, but opens at 8am. I’m looking forward to staying here again.

If I didn’t have to stay here when traveling for work I wouldn’t. The front desk lady was rude when checking in. I had two different bookings. The first one was for a double bed the first night I was there. The second was for a king bed for the rest of the week. When I checked back in I was put into the exact same room. Even though I paid differently for a king bed instead of 2 smaller ones, it did not matter. Also, the TV did not work in my room. There were also stains on the ceiling. If it wasn’t the cheapest in town by at least $100, I would not stay here.

This is the worst stay I have ever had, because the room is filthy. I wish I had read the reviews first, but I was tired from travel and needed to find something quickly. At 10:40pm, I am tired enough that I am staying rather than complaining, but I did thoroughly search the room for bed bugs and roaches first. I will set an early alarm to try and get out of here ASAP. As I write this the AC unit is making an alarming rattle. I hope both that I am able to sleep through it, and that it works through the night as the room is hot and humid.

Hi Kelly,Sorry for the inconvenience you had. But I’m sure you may not have informed the front desk. Our front desk always try to relocate if you could had told. Having said that most of the 108 rooms have updated ptacs. We will definitely look into the issues.

Slowly updating but a decent stay for the price. Towels nice, shower was great. One of the queen beds was not comfy, but the other was decent. Restaurant right next door that was delicious for breakfast.

Assistant manager acted arrogant with me. Night clerk quite unfriendly also. No ice machine locked. Hotel needs repairs in & outside. Needs painting & carpet into my room was torn. Furniture looks very old. Tried to tell me other hotels charged more than $25 for having a dog! BS!

This property is nasty. Look like blood in the shower carpet stained and old with dirt on it. Toilet not working water shut off to it. Sheets on the bed was wore out you could see through them no comforter, one thin blanket.

Cassie is RUDE. Rooms are great
The room was amazing! However, the woman at the front desk, Cassie, was so rude. I intend to call every day until I can speak to a manager and hopefully she is fired. She gaslit me about how many nights I had purchased, and spoke condescendingly from the moment I met her until the end when I was actually mad and told her I was mad. The room service people are persistent early birds too.

Horrible place to stay
Rooms were awful, no hot water in shower, your feet stuck to the carpet it was so dirty, room smelled like mold and mildew. I booked for us and another couple and i was embarrassed that this wS what i picked. Even with my rewards discount this place is overpriced. Do not recommend

This hotel has an indoor atrium which has a swimming pool, hot pool, pool table, basketball goal and volleyball net. This is great for the grandkids to have something fun to do. We also ate supper in the restaurant and it was very good. There is also an area where you can go to sit and relax and read or whatever. We have stayed there four times since September because we have contestants in the Young Guns Jr Rodeo series. We will be staying there again in two weeks for the finals. The staff is very helpful.

I normally don't submit reviews but I felt like I needed to share this one to possibly keep someone else from making the same mistake we made. The staff we had dealings with were pleasant and knowledgeable. There was a king size bed as stated and the room was quiet as far as traffic noise. The heating unit had an option to leave the fan on constantly which I like and it cycled quietly. Those are the positives I could come up with. Now negatives. The room was musty and looked as if it had not been vacuumed in a while. There was water damage on one wall and ceiling that was very bad. Many places on the walls that had been patched and needed to be painted. There was not a bathroom door, only hinges. The toilet seat had a big broken piece leaving a very sharp edge. The room was a "kitchenette". The appliances were very worn. I would have been hesitant to eat anything that would have been prepared on them. We were just traveling through and stayed only one night. Personally I would have left except it was storming and dark and my card had already been charged. For the price very disappointing. I would not recommend the hotel or every stay there again.

However we are working on repaint the rooms and thanks for appliances suggestions. We definitely will consider it to change.

For a older hotel i personally didnt mind it being a guy.but my wife didnt like it.she saw allot of issues.the tub didnt drain.my wife asked to take a shower in another vacant room due to the drain in our room wouldn't drain.my wife didnt feel due to all the issues that she wouldn't sleep in the bed cause the bed didnt appear to her standards.she opted to sleep in a couple chairs put together to make a mini bed.the carpet had tears in it.the only thing i dislike was the bed top bed sheet was super thin.had to turn up heat to stay warm.the refrigerator/freezer worked great.kept everything chilled.the staff are friendly and theres a huge indoor play area with a pool. Theres allso a museum of the tv show Gunsmoke.worth visiting In same building is a restaurant and bar. Loved the food. Parking lot is big. Loved the western theme.

The property itself is older, but inside is very clean and well-kept. Morning staff was a little friendlier than the young man in the evening but all in all both were efficient we were on a three week vacation and my traveling partner said it was the most comfortable bed we had the whole trip. We were just passing through on a one night stay, but if in the area I would definitely stay there again.

Walked in was taken back with the decor. Then got to the room and strong odor burned my nose like Mentholatum, ask for a different room went to that room, same Oder just not as strong, but ceiling tiles in the bathroom or falling down and duct tape on the carpet in the doorway. So asked for another room that room was a little better still had the same smell, but look to be a little bit in better repair, the phone was broken but the bed looks clean so we say OK. Then first night we had an extreme headache from the Mentholatum smell that they used to deodorize the room, the blankets on the bed as the sheets literally and when we checked out we had to throw away our socks because the carpet had sticky black residue in the carpets it was extremely nasty. We also had to wash our shoes because of the stickiness when we walked through the lobby this place could be incredible if they would just take the time to replace the carpet and do some routine maintenance for upkeep , like on the phone and the showerhead and the broken hairdryer replaced. This place was an experience but I would likely not stay there again. The photos we saw on Expedia were absolutely not the rooms that we were given. Even the phone was the old style touchtone phone. The restaurant on the other hand was absolutely wonderful, very clean. The people were a delight, and the food was very very good so if you were ever in Dodge, it is a great place to eat.

Very unique and fun western decor. Disappointing to find out breakfast was really not included on the day we stayed. The Fossett in the shower was broken and hard to use. The beds and pillows are pretty old but clean.
