« We were two couples and found this cottage to work out terrific for our stay. We have time in Chester, Wrexham and Liverpool which made for easy day trips. The host Gary did an excellent job in meeting us at the place and provided a great overview of how everything worked. »

« Our stay was perfect. We were away for a romantic trip and the cottage was perfect for that. The cottage was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need for a romantic few days away, including two big bath towels each, never mind all the other little touches and the excellent welcome basket. We would highly recommend it to anyone and would love to come back someday. »

« We throughly enjoyed our stay , we had good communication with the owners and the cottage was very clean and spacious. Parking was never a problem and it is in a quiet area but very handy for Chester which is a lovey town .The hot tub was great and was used every day . »

We were celebrating a 60th birthday and 60th anniversary, there was plenty of room for all 13 family members inside the property and we enjoyed the outside space using all the facilities. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. The bedrooms/bedding/towels all lovely and clean. We would recommend a stay at this property. »

« We have used Hotels.com many times and Sykes cottages a number of times this past year al very good and this was excellent. The booking was easy but the owner of this cottage was excellent in communication and instructions ( Gaynor ) there isn’t enough I could say and we had the privilege of meeting her when she did midweek check on jacuzzi. « Spent 6 nights. Great location with short trips to many surrounding areas. Very private. Hosts are lovely and the property was very clean! Jacuzzi is the icing on the cake! »

« Property is ideal for a couple, short or longer stay. Very clean and comfortable. Location is excellent within a quiet area very close to City Centre. Great shops - highly recommended Butcher - and three great Pubs with nearest next door but one and furthest about a minute away. Parking on road is limited to 30 minutes between 0800 and 1800, but parking available close by, and was ok. Would recommend this property. »
