« Charming miners cottages in the centre of Burra, within easy walking distance to eating & shops. Quiet, spacious, very comfy bed. Being winter the cottages do get cold but heat pump soon fixed that. When we arrived at the front of the cottages a notice on the gate said to check in around the corner at the office on site so we drove around only to find a board propped against a tree saying check in was now via the camp ground along the road. « This cottage has been restored to perfection and was considered a home rather than a house by our family of six who stayed for four nights. The interior could be straight out of a glossy magazine and my Mum (in her 80's) was constantly wowed by the authentic vintage utensils on display. « We absolutely loved our stay at the cotrage. We both love gardens, so it's setting in a garden was the icing on top of an already great experience.Generous breakfast supplies, a complementary bottle of wine and cheese as well as fire wood being topped up during our stay made us feel very welcomed.
