« The room had dead bugs and flys on the table and beds. The air con unit would not work until we cleaned the filters. Photo available. »

« Nice stay thank you »

« Stay here! A unique, completely comfortable and enjoyable stay. Bungaree Station is a still-functioning sheep farm, founded in 1841 and still run by descendants of the founders. By the 1850s and 1860s, the flourishing farm was something of a town, with housing for workers and managers, a store, church, community buildings, etc. Many of those original buildings are now converted into boutique and highly unique accommodations. I stayed in a former stable, now a lovely free standing little...

« Great location right near Main Street. Modern accommodation, quiet »

« Yes but wasn’t clued up about the Tetla for cooking. It was a portable hot plate so we used the electric frypan to cook our breakfast. Great breakfast too. But everything else was great, loved our stay very clean and calm music was lovely when we arrived. Location fantastic right next to HIRE BIKES and the Riesling Trail. »

« Excellent luxury accomodation with good views. »

« "This room was completely misrepresented. It is incredibly basic, and the kitchen facilities are communal rather than private. The air conditioner is so loud it sounds like a frieght train running through the front door, making sleep impossible. The only 'good news' was that the racket didn't interrupt the TV, because the TV didn't work anyway. If you want a quiet, self-contained stay, look elsewhere." »

« We stayed in the Pay Office cottage and had a wonderful time. The kitchen was generously stocked so we had what we needed to start our days well. The complimentary wine let us finish the day just as well. The location was very convenient for exploring the surrounding wineries. We would definitely stay again. The only thing to be aware of is that there is no wi-fi available and cell phone coverage is spotty. »

« Clean place. Excellent amenities. Lots of stuff for cooking. Great place for a few days… or a week. »

« The cottage itself was great. It is in a good location and had everything we needed. It was clean and tidy. Unfortunately the owners are poor communicators however. We were not advised of the check-in details 3 days prior to arrival, as stated in our booking confirmation. They said they would email the information. They didn’t. They said they would ring us. They didn’t. We had to ring them, more than once, and finally received the key lock box code hours after the check in time. Not knowing if...

« Peaceful and relaxing. Generous provisions »

« The accommodation was excellent. The only suggestion was that rails be installed by toilet and in shower. As an older couple we both agreed this would have been an advantage. We did enjoy our brief time there and it was helpful to have eating places nearby if we wanted to eat out. As the venue was a kitchenette, there was no stove or oven, but a microwave was available. »
