« Check in could be improved. Arrived to a busy pub with customers waiting for service at the bar and no designated check in desk. Several staff just walked past us with our bags and no one acknowledged we were trying to check in for several minutes. The room was okay but not as shown on our booking confirmation - it was an attic room with very steep stairs and a not very safe landing area outside the door. The bathroom had been shoehorned in under a sloping ceiling - there was no shower, just...

« Luxurious room! We splurged for the nicer room and wow! Wonderful staff, good beer selection. We needed to leave early the next morning so the chef packed us a picnic breakfast with lots of fruit, a blt sandwich, crackers and jams and cookies. Ate it on a hill overlooking a field of sheep and the town below. So memorable! »

« Yes the gypsy caravan is small but it has everything you need .... It's clean, tidy warm and cosy, and a great night's sleep. We stayed 4 nights and the breakfasts were slightly different each day but at the same time great quality .. all the staff can cook! We were made to feel so welcome we stopped and extra night! Overall a super pub in a super location. Would recommend booking the restaurant and it's very popular and often full even mid-week. Would recommend to anyone. »
