« Loved our overnight at Birdsong! The deck and hot pool were great for bird listening and spotting. We had everything we needed for a comfy stay. Quirky and old school amenities with all the good stuff.If we are being picky We could have done with a second set of towels as we used the hot tub and needed a shower the next morning. Also struggled with the fire as kept going out, maybe flue needs cleaning? Heat pump was more than adequate to keep us all warm and cosy! »

« Excellent pace to stay in Frank Joseph. Modern and clean, great amenities. A home away from home. Great long veranda to take in the awesome view of the mountains. Stargazing was spectacular. »

« We loved our stay in the Blackhouse Cottage, and wished we could have stayed longer. It was gorgeously appointed and well set out. The beds were super comfortable and we were snug and warm in the cold. So cozy and the perfect place to unwind and relax. We would stay here again and again. »

« Great cottage and memories made! Exactly as described - and has got our teens out of their comfort zones. Was great to get them to experience an old skool way of living! Highlight was the hot springs down the road. Really appreciated the tour of the property and have recommended the cottage to friends already. »
