« Loved our overnight at Birdsong! The deck and hot pool were great for bird listening and spotting. We had everything we needed for a comfy stay. Quirky and old school amenities with all the good stuff.If we are being picky We could have done with a second set of towels as we used the hot tub and needed a shower the next morning. Also struggled with the fire as kept going out, maybe flue needs cleaning? Heat pump was more than adequate to keep us all warm and cosy! »

« We loved our stay in the Blackhouse Cottage, and wished we could have stayed longer. It was gorgeously appointed and well set out. The beds were super comfortable and we were snug and warm in the cold. So cozy and the perfect place to unwind and relax. We would stay here again and again. »

« It was a great little getaway, and we could imagine in summer it would be even nicer being able to enjoy the outdoor picnic spots by the pond. We arrived late in the day and were quite peckish, so enjoying a beautiful fresh loaf of bread, butter and cheese that greeted us when we arrived was lovely - along with a bottle of wine for later and a ginger beer for our young one.
