« Nice place however the plugs in the place are welll over loaded , and we thought it was dangerous ,but a great location »

« Quiet location and the host promptly sorted out a lack of water supply on arrival. Overall, happy with the accommodation except for the horrible polyester bed linen and lumpy polyester-filled pillows which were nasty and sweaty and impossible to use: after a sleepless first night the local bedding shop in Westport came up trumps with a cheap cotton bed linen set and wool pillows. From then on the bed was very comfortable. Otherwise everything was as expected. Plenty of do and see in the local...

« The host was very friendly and helpful, the kitchen was well equipped and the location was great. On the less positive side, it is not a great place to stay when it is windy (there were gale force winds while we there); the walls rattled noisily and the wind came up through the decking flooring in the front room, as well as blowing straight into the long drop which has no door. Some of the furniture is extremely worn and lacking in charm. The bathroom window has no covering so lacks privacy....

« We stayed at the Rimu cottage for two nights. It was ideally located to walk to the Pancake rocks and blow hole at Punakaiki, and also just down the road from amazing scenic views and culture at Hokitika. The cottage was well described in the listing, comfortable and clean. It made a great home base for our time on the West Coast. »

« Lovely location, clean, tidy and great little space for a family stay. One thing we didn’t realise which was probably our fault is that there is no oven! This is totally fine as the bbq was great for cooking everything just be cautious of this when you are planning what food to bring! Thank you for a lovely stay »
