« We had a stressful experience due to a severe cyclone warning during our visit. While we understood the booking terms, we expected some level of empathy or a credit for a future stay given the weather extremes. The host was unwilling to compromise or help in any way. We are grateful to Expedia for eventually refunding us, but disappointed with the host’s response during a safety concern. We won’t be saying here again or recommending it to others »

« We did not stay any night as the house was not suitably (ripped carpets, ripped couches,musty smell, crowded property with other container type accommodation). No site of a spa pool. Requested part fefund. Owner stopped communicating at that.point. »

« A beautiful property with stunning water views and an easy walk to the prime restaurant and shopping area in Mount Maunganui. Extremely well equipped and comfortable. »

« Great locationally, lots of space, and handy having a full kitchen. Although we found the place to be quite cold, particularly in the bedroom and bathroom area. Cute back yard with a space to put gear in the shed and hang laundry outside. Super easy check in, and parking. Thank you ☺️ »

« The property was clean and well-organized. Plenty of beds to sleep in to. The kitchenette was tidy, with cutlery, plates, glass, mugs provided. Cooking equipment were also provided. The area was peaceful and quiet. Laundry and a dryer were also provided. Overall we were satisfied with the accommodation. One thing, if I have to suggest for improvement, it would probably be to provide an oven. »

« from the entry to leaving , this place was beautifully decorated, well set out, 2 very comfortable beds, warm, when we walked in, there was a milk in the fridge, Bottle of wine with yummy crackers, to go with yummy cheese in the fridge, the cupboards are stocked with all the teas we loved, tv is in every room, the only thing we struggled with was the stairs, stairs to the apartment and then up to the bedrooms, but we are old and knees are not the best, the view, just beautiful, all the little...

« Can't say enough for Bill. He was super helpful in the midst of cyclone vaianu. Location is awesome for quick access to redwoods trails and the little centre of eateries down. »

« Great location and fantastic hosts who responded quickly and were very kind. The room was clean and quiet. The owners have a stack of recommended things to do in the city with contact information which was so helpful. A bonus was that there was parking on site. Highly recommend staying here! »
