« Beautiful cabin in a fantastic location. Sally and her husband are so warm and welcoming and made the whole stay an absolute delight. The cabin itself is cute and cosy and has everything you need. The location is great and has a lovely little pub with great food just a couple of minutes walk away. There are plenty of walks straight from your doorstep. Sally told us to take apples and pears from her orchard and we have just made yummy apple pies with them. So thankyou for that. »

« We had an amazing weekend at Bunting Lodge, it was spotless, tidy and fully equipped. The beds were comfy and we all slept well. The grass area outside was ample space for our young boy to play with his football safely. The only thing that caught us off guard was a bbq was advertised so we took food and there wasn’t one, after speaking to Marion, I completely agree to why, we just used the oven instead. It didn’t dampen our weekend. Was sad to come home a day early due to personal reasons....

« Lovely stay over half term with the family. The cabin is set in the woods, very quiet and calming. Lovely and clean. Our son loved the ladders up to the bedroom. The weather was a little chilly, but perfect around the fire toasting marshmallows. Ash was a great host and was very quick at getting back with any questions and very informative before our arrival. »

« Wonderful stay at Poppy Cottage. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. The location is wonderful - very peaceful and lots of things to do. There are lots of walks, bike rentals and Louth has lots of great shops and restaurants. Communication with Emily was perfect. We will definitely visit again. »

" On the first night, we had a fire alarm at 3 a.m. It took the night auditor 30 minutes to turn it off. No complimentary gesture or apology was offered. The hotel is outdated for a 4-star property. The bathroom silicone is moldy, the carpet is stained and needs a deep clean, and the room was very dusty. The reception staff were not helpful, the phone was not working in a room so hard to get the reception.. and when the shower temperature kept going from very hot to very cold. Coffee and tea were not refilled, which is disappointing for a 4-star hotel where better service and cleanliness are expected."
