« Overall the stay was excellent the hosts were amazing and flexible suggesting places to eat for dinner nearby. The breakfast was delicious. The room was to a high standard and the bathroom was clean with a great shower. Only two reasons it didn’t get a 5 star. The road into the hotel is a dirt track and we had heavy rain and the potholes or rather gorges were filled with water and impossible to see how deep. « Beau bâtiment ancien et très grand avec de très beaux jardins. L'accueil est sympathique et professionnel, le personnel est très serviable. La chambre est confortable et spacieuse dans un pur style anglais avec lit à baldaquin et meubles anciens. Enfin des prises électriques à côté de la table de nuit! « We had a great time. Staff were great (mostly) and really helpful and friendly. Food in the restaurant was excellent, my wife and I loved every dish. The bar was well stocked with some great (and favourite) scotch so that was a bonus. We arrived Friday and left Sunday and on the Saturday we had a late lunch which was lovely, sat outside in the garden with the local church in view.
