« Strong WiFi throughout. Plenty of choice for breakfast, although the cooked food was a bit salty for our liking. Bed was firm, with a creak. Non feather bedding, so great for allergies. Bathroom door wasn't keen to stay shut. Room was clean. Great selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate as well as biscuits. Quiet location over the night. Steak and ale pie great, veg pie you needed a spoon to eat the contents with. »

« Nous avons passé un week end à Oborne, en famille (4 enfants entre 4-14 ans). La campagne anglaise est magifique à cet endroit, l'hotel est un ancien manoir anglais avec un très joli jardin. Très bon acceuil. Seul regret nous avions 2 chambres avec douches (probablement handicapés) donc sans baignoires »

« The breakfast was included in our booking, I thought it would just be a continental one but we could chose anything from the menu. We were actually the only people staying on a cold night in winter but the staff made an effort to make us welcome. I had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, the chef made the best scrambled eggs I've ever had with chopped chives that really elevated the dish.
