« Excellent place to hunker down for a weekend of wild weather, would love to come back to enjoy more outside time on the property and surrounding area. Highly recommended as a destination close to but nicely removed from Raglan. »

« The property was unique, comfortable and the host goes above and beyond. Important to know; The facility is a duplex though very private feeling. It is 20 min from Hobbiton, 75min from the glow worm caves. Each side has a unique character, dedicated parking, mostly private deck, bbq, and their very own outdoor private heated spa. One of the nicest places we stayed at on our trip. Thank you for sharing your hospitality with us! »

« Loved the fresh cooked meaks in the morning and the friendliness of Rekha, the owner that cooked them. She showed us her garden from which all her ingredients used. Loved the rural, quiet setting. »

« Our host, Maria, was a delight. We came to the property late after Hobbiton due to a cancelled flight. No time to get a SIM card at the Auckland Airport so I missed her messages about leaving a key for us. She was so gracious when I knocked on her door and helped us get settled in. Let us some animal feed to give the animals at our leisure. Lovely to talk to and the master bed was so comfortable! Would book here again! »

« Location great, cleanliness great, provisions great, access great, nothing about the property could be faulted. Property owner was well prepared and friendly when we arrived, communication before arrival was excellent. The only (very very minor) request for improvement would be a light on the sign on the road, we returned at night and struggled to locate the entrance confidently in the dark. Noting this did not detract from the stay in the slightest. »
